I've only gotten a flu shot once, I think 3 years ago. So far I've never gotten the flu, but with a pregnant daughter, I think I will get all the shots just so I don't risk exposing her whenever I get to see her. My wife used to always get the flu shot when I didn't. About 5 years ago, she got the flu BAD over Christmas. I got it from her a few days later. We were both out of commission for a week. I did let a case of strep throat get out of hand. It was bad, very very bad.
