Good morning. Julie bought me a Kindle Fire HD, and I am playing with it. Last night I watched a Twilight Zone episode, which I loved the irony of watching a 50 year old TV show on new technology.

Good morning! Am off to Las Vegas to meet the Old Ref who has been "working" out there all week. It's the littlest ID granddaughter's 6th BD so we are helping her celebrate! Our gift to her -- among just a couple other things, I am a Gram what can I say -- is a Duke cheer outfit complete with the white tennies and pom poms! YES!

I love my Kindle Fire! I keep it in my purse and pull it out in the courtroom when I am waiting for my cases to be called. I have several books loaded on it. It's so much more convenient than trying to stuff a book into my purse.

I haven't watched TV shows on it yet. I am not sure what the judge would say--actually I am quite sure of what the judge would say, I'm just not sure how many adjectives and decibel levels would go along with what he had to say if I were watching a show in the courtoom.

You are the best grandmother ever to give a Duke cheerleading outfit to your granddaughter! Way to go, ID!

In other asshole news, I have send to back my Kindle Fire HD because it keeps randomly turning off...common problem, they are replacing it.
