Not fried. Elvis would never have eaten a fried bananaVery Duke Blue wrote:Whachoo put in your banana sandwich? And is it fried? I've got Elvis on the line and he wants to know./quote]Miles wrote:Very Duke Blue wrote:Breakfast, banana sandwich. Got up late again.

but I'm happy to share with you. Sometimes I use light mayo, other times, I put peanut butter on one side of the bread & mayo on the either. I'm sure it sounds weird to most of you but Elvis loved it.
At least I know the final resting place of all my "traders" from last year. I'm glad you got to enjoy the Bigfoot and the Duck-Rabbit brews and whatever else Lavabe has passed on to you. ;)wilson wrote:Breakfast: coffee, banana bread

I have some Reese's Peanut Butter-Banana Cups from last year. If they are still edible, they will make it to a Brunchgate this fall.Very Duke Blue wrote:Not fried. The last one I have left is somebody's Raspberry Scotch Ale (forgot which brewery, but that can't be a particularly popular style).devildeac wrote:At least I know the final resting place of all my "traders" from last year. That one is definitely from Lavabe as I have never had a raspberry scotch ale. O'Fallon's?wilson wrote:The last one I have left is somebody's Raspberry Scotch Ale (forgot which brewery, but that can't be a particularly popular style).devildeac wrote:At least I know the final resting place of all my "traders" from last year. And if he can't, some of the folks at the NC State Fair should have that recipe. :roll:wilson wrote:Never knew such a thing existed. Sign me up.devildeac wrote:I have some Reese's Peanut Butter-Banana Cups from last year. If they are still edible, they will make it to a Brunchgate this fall.
Perhaps knights68 can help us figure out how to fry them?
Yep, that's it. He actually brought me two. Sounds pretty wacky, but the first was pretty darned good. Nice with roasted poultry.devildeac wrote:That one is definitely from Lavabe as I have never had a raspberry scotch ale. O'Fallon's?

Unfortunately, that won't preclude me from feeling tomorrow morning as if I was drunk the night before.wilson wrote:Got it...Post-Whoring While Intoxicated. Really, I'm not that drunk.wilson wrote:PWWI?devildeac wrote:Looks like a PWWI night for.
And frankly, I fucking deserve one too many beers tonight.wilson wrote:Unfortunately, that won't preclude me from feeling tomorrow morning as if I was drunk the night before.wilson wrote:Got it...Post-Whoring While Intoxicated. Really, I'm not that drunk.

That's cool, unexpectedly good eats are awesome.Turk wrote: Let me repeat: Oh. My. God.
You'll find the latest D vs. K thread on the front page, but it's only one or two pages long. It's not the big, long long thread.Turk wrote: I might have to go over yonder and dig up the "Duke vs. Kentucky" thread from the depths of the back pages. (And I won't even TRY to be ironic!!)
