Re: Brunchgate 10/24 Edition: Planning and Attendance
Update @11:30pm, 20-Oct. 2009
Miles/Shereec- Chili, deviled eggs
Ozzie (+2)- Brisket, rice, ?
CB&B- casserole(?)
DukePA- Mimosa, chips & salsa
Wilson- Corn bread
VDB (+1)- Carrot cake, baked beans?
Tilly/K68- Apple slices and caramel/cream cheese dip, cookies, beverages
CathyCA/CLbunchof#s- (+1)- Cupcakes, Oatmeal Jiffy crunch bars, Broccoli salad, Mimosa/BM fixin's
Merry (+1)- ?
Ima (+2)- Spinach, egg, cheese casserole.
DD (+1)- Oriental Slaw, veggies & dip
TNT (+10)- Cinnamon-raisin swirl bread, Wings (two varieties), Whole beef tenderloin, sourdough bread, hot dogs & buns, butter-pecan cookies
So, now, the count is 32. Fairly firm. My crew could drop by 2 (still not confirmed). Two groups have offered a duplicate item- Mimosas.
Right now, TWC is predicting mild temps with T-storms during day (40%, could delay f'ball game in event of lightening), showers (40%) that evening. It would be helpful to have any and all "EZ-ups" (a.k.a. tents) available. Everyone needs to come prepared for wet weather.

Attention, everyone. shereec is actually not bringing deviled eggs. So just don't waste your time looking for them. No deviled eggs to be seen at Brunchgate. No deviled eggs at all. Repeat: you should not come to Brunchgate expecting to eat any deviled eggs.devildeac wrote:As much as I think they'd look good, I don't think I'd make them BLUE deviled eggs. ;)shereec wrote:well ok then. put me down for devilled eggs!

We will be bringing our tent. Sounds like we could use even another one.

HA! you sound like my husband. I'll have to leave extra deviled eggs for him when we head over for Brunchgate. I promise to make enough, Wilson.wilson wrote:Attention, everyone. shereec is actually not bringing deviled eggs. So just don't waste your time looking for them. My Mom and I (Jeanne Wall/Lizz Wall) will be attending Saturday ...
I had planned to bring a Pumpkin Gooey Cake, but if there are too many
desserts, we can bring something else or some $$$ to just pay for what
we eat!

I may have to find an imperial stout bomber to share with that cake. Or someone can bring a pumpkin ale or two.CameronBornAndBred wrote:Bring the cake! That sounds way tasty.duke2narow wrote:My Mom and I (Jeanne Wall/Lizz Wall) will be attending Saturday ...

Hmm, that could be a "Category 5," a "Small Craft Warning," "Below Deck" reference or even hinting at a "rebellion" concerning a "group of ships."cl15876 wrote:I think I got a different pumpkin ale last night, I'll check and let you know! It looks like Tom and I will be able to join you all for the first time this year! In addition to beer, we will bring blue corn chips and salsa, as well as bagels and cream cheese if we get there early enough. If there is anything else we can bring, just let me know!
