Over yonder has it's place, as a spot of record and statistical information. What they lack is the warm feeling of camaraderie that
used to exist there. This genuine depth of feeling for each other is openly expressed here. The thoughts below hit the spot.

If you're in what you would consider a 'tight spot', it is so fine to know you have supporters. What peace of mind. If you find yourself in times of trouble, Mother Mary comes to...oops  ...didn't mean to break into song. It just happened. Seriously folks, the level of support you'd get from me, and I believe all the rest of the members(friends) here, will be very uplifting to your spirits. I understand firsthand.

The atmosphere here is certainly more supportive and not about endless arguments. I still read and sometimes post over there, but the atmosphere has been changing significantly over the past six months or so...... feels like the newer members who are attracted to that site are adolescent in their infatuation with fantasy above reality...... endless discussions about people (Duke players, Duke recruits or potential recruits) they do not know, have no contact with. The fantasizing about what these real people think, what their motivations are seems to take on a life of its own.
They, over there, need to be careful that they don't devolve too far from what they were. The member base has grown so much for them, that it's only natural that they will acquire more rotten apples for spoiling the group. I wish them well.
I'm glad I came here. It's the cream of the crop. You guys ROCK!
