The four from Tn. decided at the last minute to tailgate with other friends of ours in the Card lot. That was ok with me. Their loss.
Re: Brunchgate 2010 - Alabama Game Sept. 18 - Social topics
Hey everybody! Thanks for a fantastic tailgate yesterday. Definitely one for the record book!
Major props to the Alabama Fans for being so gracious and polite!
All-in-all, a perfect day! (With the exception of the dick-ish behaviour by Duke Parking enforcement for hassling our buddies.)
I have a few items that were left behind, a corkscrew, a can/bottle opener, and a digital camera w/case. If these are yours or, you know someone who is missing one of these items send me a PM to be reunited.
Peace,
TNT

There were only 4 pics on the camera, and every one of them had people with clothes.TNTDevil wrote: and a digital camera w/case.

One would hope, both. Unfortunately, that may be assuming facts not in evidence.Devil in the Blue Dress wrote:The clothes or the camera?captmojo wrote:Doesn't seem like the kind of thing one would tend to forget.

Can't remember if there were people actually in them..they were photos of the coffee stands that had been set up. By the way..those coffee people were giving away coupons...while cleaning up I found a booklet of about 15 coupons for a free any size coffee redeemable at any Kangaroo Express. I used one on my drive back today.CathyCA wrote:Did you recognize any of the people in the pictures?CameronBornAndBred wrote:It's a nice camera..hopefully it's one of our crowd and not a passing bama fan's.

I left the coffee coupon booklet on the table. The Kangaroo people handed them to me and asked me to hand them out to my friends at our tailgate. I thought, "Why should I be your mule?" So, I put the coupon booklet on the table for anyone to have. If I'd wanted to work for Kangaroo, I would have applied for the job and gotten paid for it.CameronBornAndBred wrote:Can't remember if there were people actually in them..they were photos of the coffee stands that had been set up. Hey! I just thought of something! I did some work for Kangaroo on Saturday. That camera belongs to Kangaroo. Give it to me, their agent, and I'll return it to them.

Kangaroo has one of the best coffee stations of any gas station, and we have one in Morehead that I go to often, so the free coffee coupons will be used often!

Thanks all for letting me join you at Brunchgate. It was great to meet more of my "imaginary" friends. Weezie, thanks for stopping by - it was great to meet you. If anyone is heading to the Kansas City area, be sure to let me know.
I have to come back to another one since I can't remember everyone I met. Plus I want to see a win.
Thanks for all the great food and fellowship.

And the perfect ending to the weekend - I got to thank Brian Zoubek for the fun of watching Duke basketball and for representing the University so well. He was very gracious to everyone that came up to him in the RDU airport.
