Overcast and cool here, for now. Our forecast keeps changing ... for the worse. My comment about how many inches of dusting I'll have to shovel may prove very true. It'll have to bee a helluva lot of snow for me to miss tomorrow's Maryland game at 1 pm.

Anyway, here's a picture of the snow that has hung around for 10+ days waiting for more to fall tonight. That's my house and car in the background

We've already got about 2-3" on the ground. Saw minor flurries around 4:00 but it's been getting more intense every 15-30 minutes. I made a mad dash to the store for the essentials: beer, wine, tri-tip, onions, tomatoes, beer, wine, mustard, pork, mustard, garlic, beer, wine.

The first, small flakes began to fall after 6:30P. The precipitation has been falling in small bands of activity. There is currently a very light dusting on the grass. The road nearby sounds wet and is otherwise clear. Light but steady snow is falling in the northwestern corner of Forsyth County, just outside Winston-Salem.

It started snowing sometime after 9 pm. It's sticking to the grassy surfaces but not the roads for now, but that will change during the night. I hope tomorrow morning won't be too much of an adventure getting to DD's house in Raleigh. We'll take his 4 wheel drive to Duke for the game.

This picture was taken from the open doorway in the other picture, obviously looking the opposite way. The holdover snow (located just below and left of dead center in this picture) is no longer lonely...
