I've never been to an Ikea, but I have been to Jordan's here in Boston. They are actually owned by Mr. Buffett's company Berkshire Hathaway. A couple years ago they did a promotion where if the Red Sox won the World Series, you would get your furniture for free. They ended up paying out $20 million or so. The policy was underwritten by another company within Berkshire Hathaway, so it was taken out of one pocket and put in another. They have since changed the criteria to sweeping the World Series.

Yeah, and I spent too much time on the last post. I'm starting to get hungry. Really hungry.

Our count of posts remaining is in the teens. Now if there were only a teenager to help us get this done, we'd be finished already. But I'm not sure many teenagers can comprehend/appreciate the point of a thread that isn't really about anything.

I humbly request that the honor of #8000 be yours, if you will accept. I've worked on a good set-up, IIRC... ;)

Haha, yeah, probably not. They don't have that many players under contract for the next couple of years, so this could be a big transition for them. They can build around Lester, Papelbon, and Buchholz and the kids in the field. But they lack the steriod filled bat of someone like Manny to really spark them on the basepaths.

Ahh, I think I know what you mean! Let's hope we get the count right. 10 to go.
