Ymo, my Pointy Headed Boss is becoming a judge and he picked the 33 year old Jethro Bodine (homeboy from the Varnish Zone-went to school in Rocky Mount, VA and Pound, VA) to be his successor. I am counting down the days until I can retire and draw a pension. :9f:

Ahh, lawgrad91, I saw that but for some reason didn't connect it to this thread. You are well ahead of 1492.

When you post 1066, I will see it and think why is she referencing the year the Normans invaded?

Good Morning!!!!!

So glad WaterTown and Boston are somewhat back to normal! And have Captured Suspect #2, under the boat last night!!!! All of the coverage yesterday, was something out of a Hollywood scripted movie. God Bless America! Thoughts and Prayers are with the good people in Boston and surrounding areas, and also in Texas!

Good morning. ~O) soon.

If you haven't seen the movie 42 yet, see it soon! Fabulous movie. :duke: Note: Enos Slaughter was the baseball coach at Duke back in the 70's. He's from Roxboro and hadn't changed any from his movie "portrayal".

Good morning. Waking up at Chez TNT; I dropped him and his wife off at the airport yesterday. Deported to Monaco for a week and half. I am meeting with another artist and writer this morning, he has asked me to illustrate a children's book that he has written. It's a really excellent story, so I am excited. Later I am dropping off paintings in Goldsboro for a juried show.
Whew...I'm tired already!

Monaco? That's rough!

Have you ever illustrated a book or story before? I can't wait to see your work unfold.

Not a published one. This one will be, the writer contacted me through an old craigslist ad I had. He is also an excellent artist; he just chose to use someone else to illustrate his story. So far it has been a fun collaboration.

CB&B, this is way cool. Well, all of it is cool. The Monaco part for the TNTs, the paintings for the juried show, and especially the children's book part. :happy-bouncyblue: ^:)^

No, the book will be published. We are already talking about plans for a second one. I had just said that I had not illustrated a book that hadn't been published before.
