1954: My dad graduated from Duke.
The picture above is of one of his classmates, Charles Driesell. Dad and Lefty were in the same P.E. class at Duke.
Also in 1954, Duke left the Southern Conference to become a charter member of the Atlantic Coast Conference. We won the regular season championship that year, too.

Sorry, shortly after the first few sheets rolled off the presses, there was a knock on the door. It will mighty difficult to continue with these confounded handcuffs and leg irons on my limbs.
