Just picked up a really pretty 12 oz NY Strip steak from Town Market in Pine Level. It'll be on the grill in about 30 minutes!

We each customized a panini. Needed to be simple with all the dog-nursing going on around here.

Chicken Caesar Salad.

Filet mignon and poached egg on a bed of wilted arugula with oven roasted potatoes.
Mmmmm, breakfast for dinner.

In honor of the season's first televised men's basketball game, I'm making homemade pizza. Dough is rising now (whole wheat parmesan-herb).

I'm cooking cabbage collards, chicken on the grill, baked potato, salad and garlic bread for tonight. We stopped in Faison to get the chickens, all under 3 pounds. We like them so much better than the big ones. Yum.

Leftover grilled pork chops with rice and some other shit. I don't know.

A large spinach salad with raspberries, slivered almonds, feta cheese, craisins and poppyseed balsalmic dressing.

We went to Native's house for his big brother's 21st birthday: lasagna, garlic bread, Caesar salad and TWO kinds of ice cream cake. We waddled home.

Chinese takeout. Mongolian beef, orange chicken, hunan chicken (it was delightfully garlicky.) I'm hungry again.

Pulled pork barbecue that I made yesterday. It was from an 11 pound picnic, I gave just over half of it away, we'll keep the rest to munch on this week.

Barbecued pulled pork; steamed carrots, onion and asparagus with a hollandaise sauce; toasted rolls with garlic and butter. Also making french onion soup for tomorrow. Damn the kitchen smells good.

Pork chops, potato soup, and green beans.

I wish there was dessert in my future.

I don't know what is worse for chocolate addicts, those cookies (or any double/triple chocolate cookies) or peanut/peanut butter M&Ms.
