Second batter:

Super Singel-Hardywood Park Craft Brewery

Credit-wbmcards88; only cuz AW opened the Nocturna first

“ Our classic Singel gets an ABV boost at 9.6%, making this a perfect option to kick back with for the weekend.
Sunshine gold with a fluffy white head and a veil of Belgian yeast takes this beer to the next level. A delicate body ushers tropical fruit esters into a perfect balance of spicy hop aromatics.
Inspired by the rich history of Trappist brewers in western Europe with a twist, Super Singel is an elevated option from our original Hardywood brew.”

ABV-9.6%; Holy Hannah; for a single?!?!

Tasted like a Tripel.

Low cat 3; never met a Hardywood I didn’t like.

Third in the line-up:

Bourbon County Brand Stout 2015-Goose Island Brewing

“Develops in the bottle for up to 5 years “

Six years? Not a problem. This was still a world class beer. Top shelf, front and center, cat 3.

Thanks to August West!

Onyx. Aromas and tastes of bourbon, burnt molasses, dark chocolate, dark fruits and caramel.

ABV-13.7% (weak sauce compared to the 2019 at 14.7% I sipped this week :rofl:)

Clean-up; or should that be “palate cleanser?”

:woozy_face::joy:

Stroopwaffel
Fonta Flora Brewery

“an english-style dark mild ale brewed with honey stinger waffles”

Never had one so someone will have to tell me if the beer “matched” the solid product.

Credit-fuse and the LoveNinja; thanks!!

Very enjoyable low ABV treat at 3.8%. We almost had to perform CPR on wbmcards88 when he discovered this was a “light” beer.

Blurple Gatti-Three Floyds Brewing collaboration with Binnie’s Beverage Depot

Close to local when bought in September.

Credit-a keen eye, a sense of adventure, need for a trader and a paid up plastic card
Style-BBA and flavored pale imperial stout
Format-12 ounce bottle
Stemware-snifter (not my glass in photo )

Nose-really reminded me of a BBA World Wide Stout
Mouthfeel-alluring
Tastes-bourbon, cocoa, alternating dark and milk chocolates, coffee, dark caramel and char
Adjuncts-oats, Madagascar vanilla beans, Ethiopian blonde roast coffee and cocoa nibs

Overall impression-mad me think what a Dark Lord “light” would be like; really outstanding
