Almost forgot: there was an exhibition on Madagascar at the entrance to the MoBot. I had to stop and take a look. There were a few lemur shots. The professional photographer's shots were almost as good as Lavabe's.
Most people say that is it is the intellect which makes a great scientist. They are wrong: it is character.

CB&B and I have really been slingshotting each other recently. I predict we'll both beat bjornolf to 2000.devildeac wrote:I just saw the highlights (or would that be lowlights...) on CT network LTE Review, fast forward style... :roll:wilson wrote:No shit...I think I just had a seizure.OZZIE4DUKE wrote:Glad I'm watching this "competition" in real time. You don't walk the plank in NJ. You just disappear. Forever.

Our family dog in the 80's/90's was oblivious to anything emitting from the TV. Play the piano or the flute and she would howl up a storm.wilson wrote:Happens to dogs, too.YmoBeThere wrote:I dislike ads with doorbells in them. It upsets the cats.

My dogs have learned to tell the difference based on pitch. The only time they bark is if the doorbell in the commercial is very close to the same pitch as ours.wilson wrote:Happens to dogs, too.YmoBeThere wrote:I dislike ads with doorbells in them. It upsets the cats.

It was about half a mile east of campus. Perfect. I lost 45 pounds while I was at ECU.

LOL - let me rephrase. One of my dogs can do that. The other is dumber than shit. She just watches the first one to see if they are supposed to bark and run to the door.wilson wrote:"Oh, my dogs are so smart. Listen to the smart thing they did. They're smarter than your dogs." ;)

Re: LTE 2.0
I used to work for a pizza place in Chapel Hell, (not a chain), I made tons of money doing that. The hospital and campus were our biggest customers. If it rained, you knew you were gonna be busy. Takes a toll on the car though.DukeUsul wrote:Ozzie delivered my pizza tonight. I had no idea you worked for Papa John's.
