Ghost in the Machine-Parish Brewing Comapny

Not local

Credit-a trader from ClemmonsDevil; thanks!
Style-NEIIPA
Format-12 ounce bottle (not many of those still filled)
Manifested On-02/11/21
Stemware-only the best for this one, a Hardywood teku
Appearance-white grapefruit juice with a 2 inch foamy top
Nose-grapefruit and stone fruits
Mouthfeel-juicy juice
Tastes-grapefruit, peach, cantaloupe, orange and zest
Hops-"Brewed with obscene quantities of hand-selected Citra hops from our favorite farm in Yakima Valley, WA." (beeradvocate)
IBU-100 (No. Damn. Way.)
ABV-8.5%; dangerous stuff
Overall impression-live up to the ClemmonsDevil hype; not the best NEDIPA I've had but damn close and highly tasty; any 336ers that get this will smile for days
Ymm, Beer rating-low/mid cat 3; this is an excellent beer; RJ is right and I'm a bit tough on IPAs/IIPAs, as is TW, but I'd compare with Burial, New Anthem and Veil
[redacted] them and the horses they rode in on.

Fractal Strata (draft)-Equilibrium Brewing

NY is not local

Sipping vessel-small sample cup
Appearance-white grapefruit juice; a bit of creamy foam
Mouthfeel-juicee
Tastes-white grapefruit juice, honeydew and peach
Hops-SWAG of Strata
IBU-none stated but likely about 40
ABV-6.8%
Overall impression-I'd buy a can or 4 of this as long as it wasn't $8-9 like Counterpoise or Deviation
Ymm, Beer rating-low cat 3; could move up after a half pint or more

Suddenly Beautiful (draft)-New Anthem Beer Project

Close enough to local

Credit-$4 off a mini growler on FrIPAdays at Bottle Rev

Fermentation-mixed (guessing Brettanomyces and standard IPA yeasts)
Hops-Mosaic and Cashmere
Overall rating-interesting brew with a bit more sour than IPA
Ymm, Beer rating-sneaks into low cat 3 based on adventure and execution; a bit dissonant but New Anthem is pretty adventurous and pulls it off
