The pole at Martinsville goes to JJ. Following him are Vickers, Blech, Burton, Hamlin, Kenseth, Smoke, Bowyer, Menard, Almirola.

Also news: MM, Waltrip, and Vickers will share the 55 next year as well.

Is it too late for me to take truex out of my starting lineup and to throw Jr. in there?

I think Lavabe won today :ymapplause:

I have to say, I really don't enjoy watching races at Martinsville all that much as the track is just too short. That being said, it can be a really fun track to run in the video game especially if you turn off the damage feature so that your car doesn't suffer any damage, no matter what you do as that allows you to go into corners and use other cars to slingshot yourself out of them. And you can put people into the wall just for shits and giggles without worrying about slowing down your car because of damage.

Come to think of it, I think I need to hook up the video game for a little while before dinner :auto-layrubber:

Martinsville is an interesting place to see a race. If you sit up about 15 or so rows, you can see everything but are really close to the action. It's a little like watching a game in Cameron as compared to a big coliseum. I took really good pictures the last time I went with a bottom of the line 35mm SLR camera. I can't say the same thing for my trips to Charlotte or Daytona. And if you have a favorite, no matter how many wrecks they are in, your fave will probably be on the track at the end of the race. :9f: :auto-layrubber: :auto-layrubber:

Thanks, but my 373 points didn't win today.

That honor goes to Miles, who scored FOUR more points than Team Lavabe.

Although I managed to gain 20 measly points on colchar, I did manage to regain emphatically second place. I picked up 150 or so points on Ymo, and I now lead him by 120 points or so. Ymo, in turn, leads lawgrad by 160 points. With his stellar performance today, Miles trails LG by a mere 20 or so points, and leads Tilly by 20 or so points. Tilly leads Iowa by 250 points, and Iowa leads knights by some 700 points.

Just three more races left, folks!

Thanks Lavabe. I'm glad to see that my long-term strategy is starting to pay off. Just need to string together a few more strong performances to take the Playoffs. Been a fun season.

A truly pathetic sports weekend all around for me with the lone bright spot being a Vandy win over UMass in football.

I was all in a rush to get my picks in this week because I thought it was a Saturday race and didn't want to screw up again like I did a couple of weeks ago L-)

The Nationwide race is being telecast on TV Saturday night and, when I saw the listing for that, I assumed it was the big race but, as it turns out, the big one isn't until Sunday

Still early in the race... JJ running in front.

Bizarro Moment: SkyDiver with a flag landed right near where Harvick was parked during the pre-race. The flag was weighted down with a heavy weight bag. The bag SLAMMED INTO HARVICK'S DRIVER SIDE DOOR. Harvick had to have his car repaired before the start of the race. He's mired in 23rd right now.

Ouch, missed his pit box? That sort of mistake is why 5 time champions become 6 time champions.
