Well my A-list choices certainly screwed me over today. Not at all impressed with Stewart's fuel situation today. Shitty, especially as he was doing so well for a while there.

Your even worse at sandbagging than Lou Holtz and Steve Spurrier. You realize that you only lost 19 pts to second place this week. At that rate, you'd lose your lead in another 20+ weeks. Hardly the stuff of a kicking, much less a "real shit kicking."

Congrats to Bowyer for winning for the first time in ages. Jr finished in the top 5.

Ymo wins!! WOOHOO!!

I wasn't referring to the overall season standings, just this race in particular in which I came in second last.

Bowyer won, but apparently, he's just been penalized:

Wish it would apply to fantasy league competition!

Sheesh! Looks like I probably won't lose much ground to colchar this week... and I probably won't be gaining much ground also. :-o

Why is that?

Looks like everyone is cleaning up on the starting grid.

JJ gets the poll, followed by Dinger, Truex, and Hamlin. Note that MM had 3rd, but was forced down to 42nd due to a bad shock absorber.

2/3 of the way done
Dinger led the most laps, but then had tire trouble, and is now in 18th.
Truex ran well, then blew an axle in the pits.
JJ running strong in the lead.
Blech racing well, as is Carl Edwards.
Kurt speeding. Lots of speeding violations.
Bowyer having all sorts of trouble.
Kenseth had a blown tire take out a front panel, but he's still racing in 20th.
Biff in 21st. No excuses.

Looks like I should've started Edwards and Burton instead of Biffle and Truex.

50 laps to go w/ one pit stop remaining
It's now: JJ (soon to take the most laps of the race), but Jeff Burton is making up ALL sorts of ground. Blech in 3rd.
Logano, Kurt, Carl, JG.
Hamlin, Menard, Dinger in the top 10.

As I predicted, my overall lead is really starting to shrink. If this trend keeps up, it will disappear with 3-4 races to go in the season.

A 280 pt lead. Go figure that although we had similar selections, two little differences in our selections accounted for a big point difference today.

I am stuck with only 2 more selections each of Menard and Dinger. I think I'm down to one more with Kenseth.

I too left Edwards (fortunately) and Menard (unfortunately) on the bench.

Get your picks in!

I went way outside my comfort zone with some picks this week so it will be interesting to see how they pan out.
