How far will it be between the two cities?

I developed a metal allergy after my last pregnancy. It's why I don't wear a wedding ring. Really.

I initially read this as "I developed a mental allergy."

Really? I didn't know it was possible to be allergic to gold of 14K or higher. Maybe you just need to upgrade? ;) I have a friend who's allergic to most metals, even platinum. She got an 18K wedding ring and was fine.

About 14 hours of driving time with two cats, if mapping software is to be believed.

I have grown allergic to some plant pollen over time. Bothered me in NC but not TN or MA.

Funny thing about that, my cousin grew up with two cats(and a dog), but any time she get near G+K, instant reaction.
Interesting. I had a friend who was a cat lover and had several cats. Till one day when she woke up and was allergic to them. I hope I never become allergic to my cats.
I wasn't allergic to cats until maybe 10 or 15 years ago. Senior year I moved off campus and my apartment mate had a cat - no problem. My sister in law has several cats and dogs and I visited her house many times without a problem. Then once we went over there for dinner and about 15 minutes after we got there my eyes were watering and I was sneezing and very stuffy. They had some benedryl, which I took but never recovered so we left. Next time we went over, a month or two later, same thing happened, so I knew it was the cats (we had dogs at the time). Ever since, I have about 20 minutes in a "cat environment" before I start having a problem. Double or triple dosing in advance on bendryl or similar allergy medicine does seem to work for short term exposure. Wish it wasn't so, but it is.

I'm with Ozzie, but I've been that way my whole life. Cats just kill me. Within an hour I can't breathe. Maybe I need to double or triple up on the benadryl. Nothing seems to ever do the trick.

I'm fortunate that it doesn't make me drowsy at all.

As much as I would love to have the Usul's at my party, maybe you shouldn't come as I have three cats. Though I'm going to try to clean the house, especially the living room, to get as much cat hair as possible up.

Ya know...being that Ozzie and DU are allergic to cats, and being that you know a certain someone with a nice outdoor tent, you could move some stuff outdoors (like food) so that they could choose their environs. Just a thought. At least they would only be in allergy territory during the game itself.

Tilly, yanno, I think Usul & Ozzie are looking for excuses NOT to go to your party. L-)

Hmm, the only real option for outdoors is the front yard, but I think it is totally doable. K68 can set up his badminton set for additional activities.

My clothes, sheets, & towels came home today. Now I need to put everything where it should go. Hanging stuff is hanging but God knows where. Need to organize my kitchen too as it's quite effed up.

Think so? They could just lie to me. Oh wait, that would be worse. Now I'm depressed.
