The quantities/proportions of the rest of the ingredients are pretty easy with which one can experiment. My question is: How many French people?CameronBornAndBred wrote:I'm going to make French Onion soup tomorrow. This is getting excitingCameronBornAndBred wrote:Discovery is prepped for launch on the pad, astronauts strapped inside.
Love those. We drove down out of the Black Hills and back onto the plain into a storm like that the first time I was in South Dakota, in June 1997. As we headed southward, you could really see how immense the whole storm was and watch lightning snake all the way across the sky, since the landscape is so flat. It was among the few things I've seen that truly earn the distinction of 'awe-inspiring'.CameronBornAndBred wrote:We are having a nice thunderstorm. I love the one with powerful booms, but random distances. Meaning you might feel your house shake and the next roll you here is obviously miles away.
Sure you can! Major in engineering, or physics, or math, or biology, or become a doctor. Enroll in AF or Navy ROTC and become a pilot (with one of the majors mentioned). Lots of ways to do it!CellR wrote:Time to go dream of becoming an astronaut. Can I become one by going to Duke?
Vidalia or "sweet" onions are best for French Onion soup. They caramelize nicely and acquire a wonderful earthy-sweet flavor when simmered.Sue71 wrote:Any particular kind of onions?CameronBornAndBred wrote:I'm going to make French Onion soup tomorrow. As for the people, you want plump, rural ones.
Did I already link this on here? If not, it's worth a look. If so, well, it's worth a reminder. ;)YmoBeThere wrote:"I don't wanna be a pirate!"
