Good morning all. Golf this morning and then straight to the football scrimmage at Duke this afternoon. No posting, or reading the LTE for me today. I fear how many pages I'll be behind when I get home tonight... =))

I hope it doesn't rain in Durham later today, although that is the forecast.

Hey, hey, hey. I was the wronged party on my way home from the DBAP last weekend. I see FAR more Acura drivers doing scary things than BMW drivers. My wife's automatic reaction when she gets cut off or nearly run into is to shake her head and say, "Acura drivers." It's gotten to the point where we're surpised when it's NOT an Acura driver that's responsible.

I guess that means we'll have no discussion of the 20-11 football, err baseball game between the Boston Steroid Users and the New York Steroid Users.

Well I managed to catch up on just 5-6 pages of LTE this morning. We're through two days of wake/funeral stuff. It's very sad to sit around with 80-something parents lamenting the loss of their 50-something daughter. My FIL recommended something like "you probably don't want to bring Katie to the funeral home" but we told him we disagreed. We brought Katie to the wake and the funeral and she was the best medicine. Nothing like a happy toddler to take everyone's mind off of things and provide some smiles.

We're sitting at my in-laws house in Little Egg Harbor today. May not get in the water today, we're having periodic rain. My parents and brother will be coming today to visit. The rest of Lisa's family will also be coming over. Hopefully for some happy times.

I heard that joke before, but it was "What's the difference between the Dean Dome and a porcupine?" :D

Is it: the porcupine's pricks are on the OUTSIDE? Total guess there. Highlight to read, as per usual.

Yes, bjornolf.

The joke IS better when refering to the DeanDome.

Amazing what changing one little word can do to a sentence. ;) With the "going to bed" reference, it reminds me of a game an old friend who was a girl (didn't want it confused with "girlfriend"), where we'd add the words "in bed" to anything people said. It makes for some hysterical moments.
