Tilapia. Brown rice. Greens. Something alcoholic. Lots of the latter.

Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. And I hate St. John's too.
Most people say that is it is the intellect which makes a great scientist. They are wrong: it is character.

This night will probably be seafood.

Christian and I had spaghetti and meatballs. He loved it. He overdosed on falafel last week.

Understandable. I love Mediterranean cuisine, but falafel isn't my fave.CathyCA wrote:...He overdosed on falafel last week.

Re: What's for dinner?
Bud is cooking tonight. He's going to cover a beef roast with wet towels, cover all in heavy aluminum foil. Then cover the roast with hot coals. He has done this before with a pork roast and it was great. I am going to do a rub on the roast before cooking.

Re: What's for dinner?
Bump.
Sirloin steak with a southwest marinade, topped with mushrooms. Asparagus. Rosemary potatoes. Shiraz (an entire bottle). Strawberry shortcake with homemade shortcakes (my first try at making shortcakes; good thing I made them before I had half the bottle of wine).
I was feeling great til I saw Jamie Luckie officiating the Syracuse-Villanova game. At least it wasn't Karl Hess, or I would have lost my supper.

Mom came home and wondered if I wanted to order pizza. So we did. Domino's...don't knock it 'til you've tried it...their new product really is pretty darned good. Plus, we got two mediums, which left plenty of leftovers (cold pizza...breakfast of champions), for $5.99 each.
