Oh, I'm probably going to put the surge protectors back in when he's all done, although I'll update at least one of them to work better with digital signal technology.

Hurt my back picking up a tank of a server. I'm guessing workman comp claims are pretty rare in the computer fixin' industry. Report is a ruptured disk with other fun stuff going on. Which is why if you look close enough on game day my walking stride is not a thing of beauty anymore.OZZIE4DUKE wrote:Good morning. All quiet here this morning.![]()
CB&B - what did you have an MRI for? HIPPA rules be damned!
I hope you can fix it with some physical rehab. Back surgery isn't fun.CameronBornAndBred wrote:Hurt my back picking up a tank of a server. Bummer. But claim that workman's comp for all it's worth! That's why it's there. And let Julie load the trailer with the grills and stuff... ;)CameronBornAndBred wrote:Hurt my back picking up a tank of a server. Thanks. Setting up consult with neurodude in near future. The reason it has come to this point was that after the injury (I was in so much pain I could not go more than an hour without laying down, including at work..supahsucked) I went to a chiropractor at my boss' urging. I don't like doctors. My dad is a doctor and he doesn't like doctors, so it's inherited. Anyways, the chiropractor was able to help a good bit, both through actual adjustments and home remedy suggestions that included stretching and "spinal molding". But the underlying pain in my lower back and leg never went away, and at that point he requested the MRI because he was thinking there was more going on then he could see in X-rays. Basically, it hit a point where he had done all he could do. At least now I can make it through the day and go on our walks at night, but they are painful and sleeping sucks. It was an event that literally changed the way I live my life. Getting older is the pits!!CathyCA wrote:I hope you can fix it with some physical rehab. No, the alternative is narcotics .windsor wrote:[quote="CameronBornAndBredI still refuse to let the injury take over though. I have a pretty good tolerance for pain and I'll deal with it to keep doing the things that I love. The alternative sounds incredibly boring.
