I tend to go the devildeac/Tilly/CathyCA approach and string together a bunch of consecutive posts.
I call it stream of consciousness posting.

That's not accurate. Literally without understanding the context/connotation, you're technically correct. However, most folks understand it as "Broken Heart."
See the welcome sign on this link:

The history behind the name is discussed in the final paragraph of this link:

Burst heart? Does that make it a good town for cardiologists?
We have little, if anything, to offer for a "burst heart." :(

You posted a nice commemorative pic over there.

I also have some work to do over at Dad's house for the final touches in the process of preparing it to be listed with a real estate agent.
Will you stage the house?

Clarification: I said many, not all, French cars are beautiful.
Some of them are quirkily so, such as the 1960s/70s Citroëns:

As they say, beauty is in the eye of the beerholder.
And the more beer you hold, the more beautiful he/she (or it) gets... :))

I'm going to be in Creve Coeur from 10:30-12:30 for the camera class. Maybe I can check it out. Any recommendations?
The knishes are great... and a bit different from east coast knishes. I'm normally not a meat knish fan, but I like theirs (I also like their potato knish). The deli will definitely be good for take out. IIRC, good pickles. I believe you can get some pastrami and corned beef there. I do NOT know their hours (if any) on Saturday. Definitely look up for their hours and for directions (it's a little off Olive on the way to the Jewish Center).

What I WILL suggest you do is go to the Bagel Factory (on Olive) and also the Jewish sit down place, PUMPERNICKLE'S (also on Olive). In fact, Pump's has not only some of the best matzah brei (scrambled eggs and matzah) and OTHER Jewish soul food, but it also has a mini-deli. If you're into scrambled eggs and salami (or pastrami or corned beef), you'll have hit paradise. Good latkes, brisket, and whatever. I don't know about their matzah ball soup. I expect a report on the Jewish Soul Food thread.

The Bagel Factory is a small bagel shop, but some of the best bagels you'll find in St. Louis. As today is Saturday, you must get the requisite fresh tomatoes from the UCity Loop Market, and put some on a Bagel Factory bagel with some cream cheese.

Pump's has a web site. They changed owners last October, but the quality is still good. They're also located on Olive.

:-bd :-bd
More crossed threads. . .

Cat#2 born in NC, lived in NC

Cat#3 born in Alabama, lived in Alabama and NC

Wonder what my cats will call "home".

Sort of. We will leave most of the furniture there and buy some simple slip covers for the big pieces and some simple bed spreads and pillows for the bed room furniture. We have left a few of the shelves and wall hangings in place.
