Incredibly impressive for such a young program.

Georgia Tech beat us Friday night. Santucci scratched as starting pitcher at last minute. Broadcaster said upper body injury not arm related.

Duke 14, Georgia Tech 10. Rubber game tomorrow at 1 pm.

Duke takes game one from the baby blues, 5-3. Really need this series win, and now we only need one game to do it.

If they get another lead late in the game today/tomorrow, we're sending you to bed early again, supper/no supper, beer/no beer.

Duke softball won by a lot today, moving on the regional finals with a walk off run rule winner in the 6th. They only need one win to move on to the supers.

Duke baseball decided the opposite of winning by a lot was the path for them.

Baseball has to fix their pitching:

1. We need Santucci healthy.
2. Healy has to pitch five innings per start not two
3. Oschell has to take a long shower because he stinks

Duke is off to Missouri for their third straight supers. First game will be Friday at 2 on ESPN2.

Missouri needed extra innings in an extra game to beat Omaha yesterday.

Mizzou still scares me. On papers we should win. But their offense is better than it looks on first glance, and they have good pitching, which are the kinds of teams that give us troubles. We aren't a very patient team, and we have a lot of power, so when we face good pitching, we tend to help them out by swinging early in the count and not being able to just "hang in" (especially through fouling off tough pitches) on tough at-bats. We can win this series, for sure. But we will have to really know what we're up against and handle it well.

Duke baseball plays NCSU tonight at 7 in a win or go home game vs the wuffies.

Duke wins their pool beating NSCU 8-1.

Softball takes game one in Missouri, just one win away from a trip to World Series!

Duke vs Miami at 5 pm today.

Duke v. Mizzou at 1pm on the other diamond. The network is TBD, but it will be on one of the ESPN channels and is also available on ESPN+.
