DukeRah has been on the prayer list at my church for quite a while now. This morning I reported that she had successful surgery and seemed to be progressing well - but I asked for continued prayers that she continue to heal well. I admitted that, as Duke fans, it was hard to admit that the University of North Carolina was instrumental in the positive step was difficult.

Still lookin' pretty darned good! But, I have to admit I'm still a bit nervous. Hopes have been dashed so many times it's hard to believe we are really home free. So afraid of jinxing it. Pretty silly, huh!? I guess I'll believe it when she's gone in for her post-op check up and gets a thumbs up.

The great and powerful personal viber, Tilly herself, came by for a visit today after work. We had a nice time on the back porch and she perked us up as only she can. She can vouch for the fact that we are making great progress!!!!!

A check in with the surgeon tomorrow. We have one little troublesome spot. Let's hope it's unremarkable. Vibe a little harder for just a little while longer, if you have the energy to spare.
