Kevin Cullen, video coordinator for Duke Men's Basketball. He spoke to a small group of Iron Dukes before the game last night. His information has generally been spot on.wilson wrote:Where'd you hear this? Re: Kyrie
I have resolved my thinking that Kyrie will never play again for Duke. I hope I am wrong. However, he is contributing to his teammates and being an extra coach on the bench. Kyrie can only help Nolan, Seth, Tyler, Andre with Guard suggestions.
I would love to see #1 run out at the Dean Dome for the Sat evening game. If only playing 5 - 7 minutes a half. I think we would all be thrilled. I dont know what the TOE says. Or DR TOE or DADDY TOE IRVING SAYS, about a return on saturday!

Re: Kyrie
He has been an awesome coach. I have loved his attitude everybit of the way, he has made himself as valuable as humanly possible in his coaching and enthusiasm for the guys that are on the court.DevilWearsPrada2.0 wrote:I have resolved my thinking that Kyrie will never play again for Duke. Re: Kyrie
But just the sight of the talented freshman point guard in uniform has sent quite a buzz through the Greensboro Coliseum. At several points in the last few minutes, Maryland forward Jordan Williams glanced over with wide eyes and a look of curiosity as he watched Irving work out.

Re: Kyrie
During the game, one of the ESPN reporters stated that during the pre-game Kyrie warmup, some of the Maryland coaching staff asked the reporters whether Kyrie was going to play.

Re: Kyrie
There is no logical reason whatsoever for Kyrie to have had even the most humdrum workout in front of all those people if there weren't a decent chance of his playing again soon. Just as I had begun to give up, I have been sucked back into the vortex of optoemism.

Re: Kyrie
You, I believe, are justified in having this line of thinking. Especially with the possiblity of a diminished Nolan.wilson wrote:There is no logical reason whatsoever for Kyrie to have had even the most humdrum workout in front of all those people if there weren't a decent chance of his playing again soon. Re: Kyrie
You know, even before Nolan had to sit yesterday it seemed like Seth was playing point. Perhaps that was to get Nolan comfortable playing off the ball again?

Are you sure it would be the Unicorn? Or, might it be because of the initiation of a 'return' conspiracy?CameronBornAndBred wrote:If we lose today, I'm blaming JH's unicorn.
