Dude! You are the 2010 champ as the season started and ended in 2010.

The 2011 season starts next Sunday.

Forgive me, I'm stoned right now.

Seriously, I really am stoned. I blew a disc in my back a few days ago and am hopped up on enough pain killers to make EJ jealous and am clearly not thinking straight.
Better not let EJ know where you are or he'll be on your doorstep to know you down and take your pills.

Not a problem! Jr. wrecks and needs to go to his backup car. He'll be starting in the back rather than on the front row for Sunday's race.

Umm, my driver list does NOT show the starting position, unlike previous years. Is anyone else having this problem? Or is this just something they don't do with Daytona?

Didn't they just announce the full starting grid like an hour ago? It may just not be live yet.

The race notes were posted last night, complete with starting positions.
A few folks, e.g., Junior, crashed since qualifying, and so are starting in the back.

I can see them. I didn't check before the race but, right now, I can see the starting position and current position for all of my drivers. I hope they do show the starting position after qualifying for future races though as I would often swap bench drivers in for starters depending on how they qualified.

I've also noticed a clock on the top right of the grid that tells how long it will be until the information refreshes which is a nice bonus that I didn't notice being there in previous years.

23 laps into the race: one caution at lap 6, when Blech spun around on a turn. No major damage to the car. He lost no laps.
3rd caution: Harvick lost an engine. Pit stops.
Lots of two-person drafts. Near the front we have JamieMac & JPM. Menard racing well.

Glad I put Harvick on the bench.

Smoke had been pushing Menard, but Smoke now has a bunch of oil that was leaking from Menard. Word of warning... Menard is Harvick's teammate.

Lap 27: Bowyer & Jr, Jamie Mac with JPM, Brad Kes w/Burton.

Thankfully, Harvick was my backup.

With the wreck that just occurred, some people's day could be less than they hoped.

Most of Hendrick are being repaired (MM is in the pits, JJ and JG are in the garage). Jr is sitting fine near the lead.
Waltrip, Reutimann, and Biff are in the garage.
Ambrose, Lally, Brian Kes,Vickers are toast, but in the garage as well.

17 cars involved in the crash. 12 in garage.
JPM w/JamieMac in the lead.
