I know the other internal candidate finished his round of interviews yesterday. This means they can now proceed to decision time. I had a very nice conversation with him yesterday. He thinks I am better qualified and will probably get it. If I do, he will be working for me (or vice versa) he's a good guy, and having talked there will be no bad blood - I did tell him if i got it I probably wouldn't stay in that job a year and I would do what I could to beef up his experience so that when I moved on he would be the best choice to take my chair.
All that is gold does not glitter, not all those who wander are lost; the old that is strong does not wither, deep roots are not reached by the frost.

I'm a .Net geek - my 'thing' is U.I., although I'm pretty good at handling big ugly data sets (SQL or Oracle)
