On the day of my wedding, my dad handed out business cards to his friends which declared:

I AM THE FATHER OF THE BRIDE. Nobody's paying much attention to me today, but I can assure you that I am getting my share of attention. The banks and several business firms are watching me very closely.

He got such a kick out of doing that.

And maybe find some time (when folks are in a better mood), to sneak in a reminder that, assuming nothing catastrophic happens, that in 11 days, CLD & DukeDiv will be man & wife; and in another year, will likely have forgotten any day-of-wedding SNAFUs. Everything seems major, until one can stop and think about what the day is really about.

Mr. DA helped me keep it in perspective, and I really appreciated that as I was stressing over printing the menu, or assembling the program, etc. etc.

You forgot the FOB who will be laughing, crying, dancing, entertaining. sighing, smiling, singing and whatever else goes along with the emotions of the day.
