Go to the DBR and read the last page or so of the ncaa/unc thread. Great stuff. Don't miss the Hitler video.

The Hitler video is hilarious. The Fayetteville Observer is reporting the three unnamed players who are in limbo to be linebackers Bruce Carter and Quan Sturdivant, and safety Deunta Williams.

That's funny..it's been around for a while, finding different ways to make fun of someone. I'm pretty sure I've seen it used when when Duke beat UVA in football Cutcliffe's first year.

DinK also said it was used when N. Iowa beat the Jaysquawks in the ncaa this year or last year. But that was on another board in a land far, far away ;) .

My limited recall of my college German though thinks the subtitles are pretty darn close to Hitler's actual words. 8-|

OMG! I just went to WRAL.com because I couldn't remember how many players didn't make it onto the plane for the trip to Atlanta and see this!

Breaking News: Investigators with the N.C. Secretary of State's office have subpoenaed Tar Heels defensive tackle Marvin Austin, a source told the AP.

Marvin Austin has been subpoenaed by the North Carolina Secretary of State office. This is starting to expand beyond the athletes.

We should remember that any state laws applied to the situation will relate to the agents and their behavior as defined by that law. This isn't a matter of NCAA violations being investigated, but rather possible violation of state laws. Thank goodness North Carolina has statutes covering agents' actions. Not all states do.

Best words I've ever read from Gregg Doyel.
No, you're worse than everybody else. You're phonies and hypocrites, North Carolina fans. You're liars and excusers.

One of the best things I've read. Ever. Especially from a hack and card-carrying Duke-hater like Dolly. Or Doilie. Or whatever his name is.

Kendric Burney is out four more games; Deunta Williams two, and they have to donate money equivalent to a portion of their ill-gotten gains to charity before they can play. (I suspect they won't have any issues finding that money under a rock or in a handshake.)

:9f: :9f: and take your dirty money with you.

I'm really hoping the "Wheels for heels" that Jesus_hurley mentioned has some legs and the ncaa can throw the MBB team under the sanctions bus, too. :9f:

Please, please, please.... :YMPRAY: :YMPRAY:

If it would take out a few more football players, too, my season would be complete.

Looks like the tutor is gonna stonewall the investigation according to the n&o today. I'll put a link up when I get home later today. Shouldn't that be a simple question like: Did you write the paper or not? With simple answers: yes or no. If it's yes, then we're gonna have to look a bit further. If it's no, then, ahhhhh, see ya. X(

I wonder if she did write papers, what effects it will have on her academic record. If she's graduated, perhaps none. Though it could have employment implications for her, hence her reason for not cooperating. She probably has some loser lawyer giving her advice.
