Of course if the CBI won't take them maybe they can go to the collegeinsider.com tournament. Apparently whoever wins the Great West Conference will get an automatic bid. The Great West features powerhouse teams like: Chicago State, Houston Baptist, Texas Pan-American, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah Valley and the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT).

Think Roy would accept a bid to play in this?

Ed Davis suffers broken wrist:
http://www.wralsportsfan.com/unc/story/7020143/
Davis broke the lunate bone in left wrist when he fell to the floor in a mid-lane collision with 9:16 to play against Duke on Feb. 10 and the game tied 43-43.
I guess the new excuse will be we only won because Davis got hurt

if you believe the hype, he's basically checked out as is
http://bustersports.com/blog/buster-blo ... -the-year/
It seems plausible that this could be considered a "good" thing, in the event that Davis was considered a lock of a lottery pick for the 2010 Draft, but we've also heard that he's unhappy at Carolina and that the sophomore would make the jump to the pros "regardless of what happens the rest of the season."

I dunno but I don't give a $hit about carolina (or KU).
I'd bet a small amount on KU.
Another question: How many times will the UK have their chance/s to win #2000?

From the Forde minutes today:
North Carolina coach Roy Williams (14) would feel right at home in the kiss-and-cry area adjacent to the figure-skating rink. College basketball's resident drama queen teared up -- again -- during a recent interview with Yahoo! about the Tar Heels' struggles this season. Get the man a sequined jump suit, please.

How could the Triangle newspapers still be publishing stories that say things like carolina "is in danger of missing the tournament" and that there's "no more margin for error"? They are not making the tournament, barring a miracle run in Greensboro, and the margin for error disappeared fully a month ago. I know those papers don't strive too hard for objectivity in this context, but gimme a fucking break.
