Re: The Official "Good Morning" Thread
Harrumph!! Julie told me this morning she heard our cats making lots of noise on my car last night (which I had moved from under a tree to directly under our bedroom window because of the storm we had and because Cathy's car had just been hit by a branch due to the same storm). When I went out to drive off this morning I discovered that she did not hear very loud cats but instead the noise of my car door closing. Someone had rifled through my glove compartment, leaving most of its contents on the floor, including a checkbook. No checks were missing that I can tell (but I'm still going to the bank); alll they took was half a phone charger...the end that plugs into the lighter socket. The other part is inside plugged into my wall adapter. They left a $20 Papa John's gift card that was sitting on the seat, a very nice pocket knife that was in the console, and about $3 worth of quarters also in the console.
Julie called this morning after she found out that several of our neighbors had the same thing happen. I hope whoever it was enjoys that half a phone charger, not much he can do with it except stick it up his ass.

Those pesky cats! I hate it when they go on a breaking and entering rampage like that.
(I hope your day gets better.)
Good morning!

They did the same thing to my neighbor and decided to take an air guage for a tire that you can get at the dollar store, but left his very nice leatherman tool in his console.IowaDevil wrote:Good morning all!

Ugh. Sorry to hear this, but glad all they took was half a charger. You don't have very smart thieves.CameronBornAndBred wrote:Harrumph!! Good morning. Ruthie would say good morning, but she's in a "time out" right now...
CB&B, hopefully your vandalism claim to your insurance company, which is covered by the comprehensive part of your coverage, which might have zero deductible. Didn't we talk about this recently on something else on another claim?

Good morning!
In examining my time card yesterday, I discovered that I had already donated 90 minutes to the criminals of the Varnish Zone. I had also yelled at several coworker friends and cussed out Charlie in IT. (IT and the computer idiot at the Sheriff's Office are engaging in a contest and I'm the one without a raincoat. IT won't provide me with the program I need to watch Sheriff's Office interview videos, and won't let me download it myself, and SO tells me it should be self-loading on the DVD if I had the right program to run, which they haven't installed on my computer.)
I am taking a mental health day.
