Got the bedroom emptied yesterday! Today my nephew comes over and we will move the bed and dresser in from the other (smaller) bedroom and this will be Ozziedaughter's bedroom, as it was when she was growing up, because it was larger. The smaller guest bedroom will be Ruthie's room.

Good morning.

We got the bed and the dresser moved into the bedroom. If you look at the top of the picture, you will see two "honored" Duke jerseys hanging in the rafters. Ozziedaughter retired them after going to the Men's banquet in 1996! Chris Collins and Stan Brunson. Bet you didn't remember that Brunson wore #31 before Shane did!

PHB in Richmond today. I wonder if he's still wearing the too-short tie. He came in my office yesterday and told me to take a look at his tie and see if I could notice anything about it. I resisted the temptation to say, "Other than the fact that it doesn't extend to your navel?" and put my reading glasses on to take a look at it.

Turned out on closer inspection, the tie pattern was a series of screws, and each screw was surrounded by a giant letter "U".

The man is weird.

Putting on my Grandpa hat today and heading up to the mountains to pick up Ruthie for the big move! I bring her back to her "new home" tomorrow, in advance of her folks later in the day (or on Friday, depending on when the rental truck gets loaded)!
