I think I won this week. I wish I had started Truex instead of Montoya, not for the CTN pool but for the other one that I am entered in as I think doing so would have won me that one as well. Someone in that pool has been doing very well all season. I am ahead of them, but just barely, and they had a rare off week so starting Truex would have allowed me to put a little distance between us. Since they don't have off weeks often every point helps.

Sam Hornish, a common pick in our Fantasy League, did not qualify the #22 car today... Parker Kligerman did (and placed the car in like the 17th position). As a result, if you chose Hornish, you will see "NE" (not entered) next to Hornish's name. Hornish will, in fact, drive the #22 on Sunday, but will start in the 42nd position (one behind Almirola). If you see the NE, don't worry. It should change sometime before the race.

MM won the pole, followed by Edwards, JJ, and Kenseth.

The option would be to use another driver.

My other option is starting one spot ahead of him. X(

Btw Jimmie Johnson changed an engine and starts 42nd.

And Jr crashed his car in practice today, so he'll use another car and start next to JJ.

Well, I'm abandoning the idea that Hornish will earn fantasy points today. I've taken Ymo's option.

Really kind of ridiculous. X(

Lap 67 of the Michigan Race: CAUTION
Major issue: MM had led about 40 laps from the pole, but as he approached to lap JPM, JPM caused Bobby Labonte in front of him to get loose. JPM slowed, but the turbulence caused MM to spin out, causing Kahne (who was coming up on MM) to spin out to the infield grass. KK will continue with minor, if any, damage. Labonte will lose a bit, but not much damage. JPM was undamaged. MM got the worst of it. He spun out to the pits, and nailed at high speed the wall by KK's pit stall. The wall actually scissored the rear of the car, cutting the oil line. MM is OKAY, but out of the race. The car was destroyed.
BIZARRE!!

Lap 71: Smoke is off in the garage... one cylinder went out. They are going to get him back out on the track, but he'll be running on 7 cylinders.

This is a MAJOR development in Fantasy League, as 4 of the 7 active leaguers chose Smoke.

Lap 76: CAUTION: Regan Smith gets nipped by Ambrose. No damage to Ambrose. Smith into the wall, goes to the garage.

Lap 81 of 200 Green Flag racing again
Bowyer, Kenseth, JJ, Truex, Hornish, Harvick, Kes, Edwards, Biff, Menard
11 Jr
15 Ambrose
19 KK
22 Almirola
25 Ragan
31 Labonte
34 Smoke
35 MM

Lap 88 of 200 YELLOW: CAUTION
JPM bumps slightly Logano, forcing Logano into the wall, letting loose some debris. Not truly JPM's fault. Looks like Logano got loose in front of JPM.

Logano into the garage.

WEIRD... half of the field, including 5 of the top 10 come in to the pits. Half remain out.

Lap 120 of 200
Biff and Truex lead the race, but it looks like it's a fuel mileage race, with some who need 1 more pit stop, and some who need 2 more stops.
KK doing well. He's recovered from the earlier trouble.

In lap 98, JG dropped out of the race with... a dropped cylinder, just like Smoke.

64 laps to go: CAUTION: Kurt Busch slams his car into the wall. He's out .
It looks like 9 of the top 10 are coming in. Ten folks didn't come in, including Kes, JJ, Jr, Bowyer, and more.

Ambrose now in the top 10.

I really wish I had started Biffle and Kes instead of leaving them on the bench. Sometimes it is best to go with your gut instinct rather than over-thinking things!
