Joey Freakin' Logano won the Nationwide race. Joey was pushed by ... BLECH!!

Danica was moving like a freight train with Almirola in the last lap, but Mike Wallace drifted into her. She spun him, causing about a 6-car crash in the last lap. She was unaffected by the spin, and finished 10th. She definitely shows some potential.

70 of 160 laps done tonight at Daytona
Big News:
Bayne crashed out in the first 5 laps. There goes my C lister. L-)
Edwards spun out, losing 4 laps.
Blaney crashed.
Otherwise, it's been a roulette wheel. No need to give major updates and positions, as it keeps changing rapidly. 15 different leaders tonight.

Who's working with whom? The pairs include...
Smoke & Gililand, Menard and Harvick, Mears & Cassil, Reutimann & Truex, Kahne & Vickers, Kvapil & Nemechek

David Ragan wins in an horrific Daytona (2 green-white-checkers needed, with massive wrecks on the second one). You don't want to see 2/3 of the cars end up in the shop.

Kenseth pushed him home.
I think I may have barely gotten to 125 points this week. UGH!! I may now be in fifth in fantasy league.
Bowyer got caught up in a wreck with 3 laps to go.
I think just about everyone got caught up in the wrecks except for Ragan, Kenseth, Hamlin, Menard, Harvick, Joey Freakin Logano (who caused one of the wrecks).

Order of finish:
Ragan, Kenseth, Logano, KK, Blech, JG, Harvick, Menard, JPM, Dinger, Smoke, Vickers, Hamlin, Kes.

How the HELL did JG finish that high? He was the cause of the first wreck near the end. MM caused another.
How the HELL did Blech end up there? He was wrecked in the accident that got Bowyer?

I believe I am now fourth.

In a stunning development, Knights and Tilly TIED for the lead this week. And no, they did not choose the same drivers! :-o

Congrats to both!!

Congrats to Knights for winning, despite not choosing a different main lineup from the previous week. WOW!! :ymapplause:

Knights has opened up a good lead over Ymo. I am way back in 3rd, some 5 pts ahead of USUL. Tilly is moving on up, and colchar is holding in 6th.

Guess what folks... it's ON TO KENTUCKY NEXT WEEK!!! :ymparty: :ymparty: :ymparty: :ymparty: :ymparty:

Unfortunately for me, it's sold out, and I will not be attending. BUMMER!! The other bad news is that we will not have any past performance from last year, because this is the first Kentucky Sprint Cup race.

You're less than an hour away from the race. Frankly, I think the haulers that gathered in Lexington today are gathering in Cincy and Louisville too.
Unfortunately, I won't be able to go to it (The Brickyard as well), as ILJ is having surgery next week, and I'll be caring for her as she rehabs.

Notable team haulers that showed up today:
Hendrick: JJ, JG, and MM.
RCR: Harvick, Burton, Menard, Bowyer.
Penske: Kes and Kurt.
Richard Petty Motorsports: Dinger and Ambrose.
Red Bull: Vickers and Kahne.
Michael Waltrip: Truex and Reutimann.
Others: David Stremme, David Gililand, Regan Smith, Bobby Labonte.

Notable no-shows: Jr, Joe Gibbs Racing, Stewart-Haas, Roush-Fenway.

By the way, check out the Harvick trailer attached. Check out his image. He's the ONLY one with an image of the driver on the side of the hauler.

After half the field ran qualifying laps, the rain came down, and cancelled the rest of qualifying. So, they go to Practice Session 1 times. /:)
Starting positions are:
Blech, JPM, Kurt, KK, JJ, Kes, Edwards, Ragan, Smoke
Tonight's Nationwide race was won by Kes. It was all Kes and Harvick tonight.

Lap 17 of 267
Kurt Busch has led every lap so far. Kid brother Blech has been 2nd place the whole way.

Jeff Gordon and Newman have made contact in 18th and 19th, but both are still racing.

Fantasy League wise:
1) 3 of us chose Kurt Busch, 2 went with Harvick, and 1 chose JJ.
2) 2 went with Jr, 2 with Logano, 2 with Kes, 1 Newman, 1 JPM, 1 Dinger, 1 Ambrose, 1 Bowyer, and 1 with Burton.
3) 3 of us went with Menard, 2 with Smith, and 1 went with ... Gilliland.

Competition Caution on Lap 30 of 267
Because it rained heavily, cutting short practice, NASCAR has called a competition caution, so that teams can learn a little more about the course.

Lap 75-80 of 267: Green flag pitting
On the earlier caution, Ambrose's pit crew got their signals mixed up, and they only gave him half the gas he should have had. He came in on lap 68 to refuel, making him go down one lap. He fell to 35th.
