I've said this before, but the nerd smiley and the pirate smiley are neck and neck for #1 on my list.

I really want to name a dog 'Bubbles' or 'Squishy'.

Or my fish, I suppose.
I've always wanted a Beagle, or some sort of small dog that doesn't bite. We had a Schnauzer a long time ago, but it almost ate me alive on multiple occasions. :o3

Yeah, Schnauzers can be pretty testy. Beagles, on the other hand, bay pretty crazily. And yes, please reserve "Bubbles" and "Squishy" for fish or other similarly non-cuddly pets. Your dogs deserve better.

Beagles are sweet dogs but chew incessantly. Forewarned is forearmed.

Lots of breeds are inveterate chewers. Young labs are notorious for this. They pretty much all do it to some degree.

I prefer to name my animals after Bond characters.

However, if I ever do get a rescued greyhound, I will probably keep their name. We'll see.

I love this. There are lots of good choices. Also some dirty ones, which should keep Shammrog happy.

We had two labs, Asher and Daisy. Daisy had diabetes, and eventually got cancer. We put her to sleep this winter. Asher is one of the strangest labs I have seen, I think something is wrong up there in his 'noggin. Among other quirks, he occasionally he freaks out and bites teenage boys, extremely odd for a lab. Some weird cases for that type of dog.

Sorry to hear about your late pup.We had to put brother & sister dogs to sleep, one in October and the other in January, both due to rampant cancer. Very sad.
