I was thinking: fancy, hand-crafted toilet seat? ;)CathyCA wrote:It's a board with a U-shaped cutout.
As opposed to some here who have pot growing in their rosemary and mint? ;)DukieInKansas wrote:Yes - I have rosemary and mint growing in a pot now. Have also planted a strawberry pot with herbs in the past - thyme, oregano, etc. Mint in a pot is a good idea as it tends to spread rapidly - so if you plant it in the ground, you will be cutting it back/pulling it out forever.craziecat wrote:Man I wish I could grow a garden. Back yard all shade and I can't grow shit back there. Have you ever tried just growing herbs in just a pot? Stouid question I know, but thought I would as just the sameDukieInKansas wrote:I had a Caprese salad for dinner. Basil and tomatoes from my back yard. I used the Jelly Bean tomatoes.
That's like wanting to see games between, um, Virginia and Clemson. Except for the locals, who cares? :o :o :o ;)Lavabe wrote:Hopefully that means the rest of the country won't have to watch any more games in this meaningless series. Are you kidding me, Ozzie? Virginia - Clemson is ACC!!!! I'll always watch an ACC game, given the opportunity. In basketball that is. Granted, I wouldn't be too interested in Virginia-Clemson in football. I am however proud to say that I watched every minute of the 6 OT games between Syracuse and UConn this past spring. Boeheim has won me over (mostly because of his friendship with Coach K) and I'll root for Syracuse against any other Big East team (or any non-ACC team). With the exception of 'you-know-who', I always root for ACC versus non-ACC. And no, I can't watch a game of any kind without eventually rooting for one of the teams. It's in my nature.OZZIE4DUKE wrote:That's like wanting to see games between, um, Virginia and Clemson. Except for the locals, who cares? :o :o :o ;)![]()
Hey, don't look now, but the Nats are on a big winning streak. For them, that is. ;)Bostondevil wrote:Are you kidding me, Ozzie? Virginia - Clemson is ACC!!!! That said, a Brewers-Nats game? I'll pass, thanks. But I think the Braves are still in contention so, worth watching. Although I've got a feeling this isn't the Red Sox year, I'm not writing them off just yet. There is always a silver lining though, a few more losses and I could probably head to Fenway for a mid-week non-Yankees game and get the kids into the bleachers for under $100. I've done it before. The kids love me when I do that.
I think our resident pirate moderator MIGHT have something to say about this response.OZZIE4DUKE wrote:That's like wanting to see games between, um, Virginia and Clemson. I was just trying to pick a couple of "second tier, smaller market" teams with a smaller fan base to use as an example.Lavabe wrote:I think our resident pirate moderator MIGHT have something to say about this response.OZZIE4DUKE wrote:That's like wanting to see games between, um, Virginia and Clemson.
