What time? :flags-usa: Is Belgium any good?

I watched some of the friendly (it was more of an unfriendly) between Chile and Spain last night. Chile was better than I expected. Ended 2-2.
Klinsmann maintains his record at the helm of USA.
Belgium 1 -0 USA

The USA can't score. :ymtongue: :Boo:
#-o

Are there any scorers in our future?

Woo-hoo. The US scored a goal (Dempsey) and beat Honduras in a home friendly, 1-0.

1-0.

On the other hand, Tim Howard made a fantastic save.

USA hadn't won in Europe since 2008.

An away win for Klinsmann and the Red, White and Blue. :flags-usa:

In case you didn't see this on the highlight ESPN lists, check out the USA GOALKEEPER, Tim Howard, as he scores a goal in today's English Premier League game:

Nonetheless, Howard's Everton team lost. :D

An amazing thing.
I think Seth took a shot like that last night. Only, it wasn't anywhere as close to going in as that was. :((

US women beat the Dominican Republic women 14-0 today.

BAD NEWS: Unfortunately, the US lost start player Ali Krieger for 6-9 months with a torn ACL & MCL. Obviously, she will not be going to the Olympics.

Clint Dempsey becomes the first American to score a hattrick in a regular season English Premier League game.

An emerging trend in EPL: several MLS folks coming to England to play for the next two months. Henry, Donovan, Keane, and others are playing in England now.

US women play Mexico tonight in CONCACAF qualifying. They only need a tie to advance with the #1 spot due to goal differential. They looked good against Guatemala and Dominican Republic, but those two teams were so overmatched it's hard to say just how good they might be.

Manchester City have levied a fine against star player, Carlos Tevez. Earlier in the season, he refused to come in off the bench. He has not played since the incident.

The fine is 9.3 MILLION pounds.

I don't recall ever seeing a fine that large levied by a team against one of its own players in any sport.

Wow.

Not sure Man City needs him.

US win 4-0 over Mexico.
Combined goals for the opening group games: 31-0. :ymapplause:

The USA women completed the CONCACAF Olympic qualifying competition by beating Canada 4-0. Wambach scored a couple of goals, as did the starting Alex Morgan (she rarely starts on the team).

For four games, the combined score was the USA 38, all others ZERO.

Liverpool-Spurs are on ESPN currently. I can access the feed here at the salt mine (PHB is gone. Either on vacation, or putting his MIL in a nursing home, or on a death vigil for MIL, depending on which member of the office you talk to.)

They just stopped the game to remove a cat from the pitch. Unlike the black cat that ran across the field at the Barcelona game over the weekend, this one was gray and white.

Liverpool is having loads of trouble at home, and a 0-0 draw is just what typically happens at Anfield.

Liverpool's recent home issues = Duke's recent home issues.

I do believe that Luis Suarez has to get a bit more under control. Dude has issues.

So, does Tyler Zeller get an own goal for last night off RK's shot? :)) :ymdevil:

My understanding of the rules of own goal is the person who took the shot gets the credit if it's deflected in but would have gone in anyway, which wasn't the case. :happy-bouncyblue: =)) :9f: :9f:
