The fine is 9.3 MILLION pounds.

I don't recall ever seeing a fine that large levied by a team against one of its own players in any sport.

USA women 3-0 over Costa Rica. With the win, we clinched a berth in the London Olympics.

The USA women completed the CONCACAF Olympic qualifying competition by beating Canada 4-0. Wambach scored a couple of goals, as did the starting Alex Morgan (she rarely starts on the team).

For four games, the combined score was the USA 38, all others ZERO.

Liverpool is having loads of trouble at home, and a 0-0 draw is just what typically happens at Anfield.

Liverpool's recent home issues = Duke's recent home issues.

I do believe that Luis Suarez has to get a bit more under control. Dude has issues.

My understanding of the rules of own goal is the person who took the shot gets the credit if it's deflected in but would have gone in anyway, which wasn't the case.
