OK, it did. I just saw your post in the LTE 2.0. Sorry :( Is it unfixable?

I went and fiddled with the electric panel since the fan wouldn't come on, but that didn't help.

So, I called my mom's favorite HVAC contractor. They've just called me back, and will be able to get to me on Monday. I suppose I'm lucky. They're servicing customers today who don't have any heat at all. My downstairs system still works, and it only got down to 60 degrees upstairs last night, so I will be okay. Plus, I have a beautiful fire in the fireplace.

Sorry you have to wait until Monday, but at least they can get to you then.

If I had one of these in stock http://www.greentechenv.com/pureheat I'd loan it to you, but I don't, so I can't :( It'd keep you warm and comfy all night.

I'll bet it's expensive.

My blankets do the trick. And, hey, I still got a hot shower this morning!

Just finished watching "It's a Wonderful Life." No man is a failure who has friends, the angel says.

With the friends I've made here in the last 8 months, I am definitely not a failure. Indeed, I am very, very rich. :ymhug: :ymhug:

Merry Christmas. Love you guys. :occasion-santa: :occasion-snowman: :occasion-xmas: :text-merryxmas:

I'm done.
It was a marvelous day, capped off by an outstanding beer tasting with son of DD and Lavabe. More tomorrow.

Daughter #1 and family left for home in Cary just as the snow started. Daughter #2 has crashed after being a tremendous help to me the last two days. The OP has taken a pill for his bad back and he's out cold. I've been standing with a hot tea and Grand Marnier and watching the gentle snow falling outside the big back window. I'm tired but hate to give up. It turned out to be a wonderful day. Everything turned out great for dinner and our stockings overflowed with fun surprises.

I hope all of you had a good, good day. Now, I'm saying thanks and vibing a few toe-healing vibes and turning in. Love you guys.

Love, Ima

Hot damn!
No work tomorrow! I saw the notice among all the other closings listed on local TV.
Usually they make us show up, then tell us we can go back home if we wish.
