So Edwards dropped to 18th (from second) inside of three laps. Meanwhile, Logano stayed near the front, holding in second place, despite the old tires.

I can't buy a break. I chose Edwards.

Lap 240 of 325 Kes, Logano, Newman, Harvick, Ambrose, Blech, JG, Jr, JMac.
Lap 244 of 325 Kes (on the lead) blows two cylinders. He's slowing down.
Edwards pits with 75 laps to go.
Logano pits three laps later.

41 laps to go: CAUTION: JJ spins out and hits Burton in the rear. JUST after Edwards does a green flag pit stop.
Jeez! Edwards can't buy a break (and neither can I).
Blech, Newman, and Logano were 1, 2, and 3 out of the pits.
restart with 33 laps to go.
CAUTION 32 laps to go: Vickers spins around and slides the length of the pits. He doesn't hit anything.
Kes comes into the pits. He's in like 25th place. He's still running minus two cylinders.

27 laps to go: Restart... and CAUTION: Dillon and Burton tag each other as Burton's right rear goes down.
KuBu made some impressive moves, and will restart in 2nd.
Edwards is still down one lap.
It's Blech, KuBu, Truex.

I asked the Rev for a few prayers....(Seriously, he hates Jimmie Johnson and likes Jeff Gordon, so he refuses to watch these days.)

How's the Rev feel about offering up a couple prayers for a Catholic? :D

I'll pass the word along. I think he's pretty equal opportunity. :happy-bouncyblue:

I didn't watch the race the other night, so I'd like to hear thoughts on this....

It was a crime against humanity. Thanks to MWR, I lost an additional four points on Newman, six more points with Harvick, and I believe it was 4 points with Dinger. F'ing MWR got only a portion of what they deserved. What would have made more sense is if Bowyer was replaced with Gordon, on top of the Truex penalty. In the meantime, MWR faces MAJOR issues where it hurts... sponsors are pissed. NAPA Auto Parts will make a decision sometime soon, I think.

There is also some discussion that Logano snuck in because of a deal his team made with Gilliland.

At this point, I wouldn't go ANYWHERE near Truex/Bowyer/Vickers in Fantasy these next 2-3 weeks. Stuff will be happening, and crew chief issues will be hitting MWR.

Oh yeah... and Newman will race for RCR next season, taking over for Jeff Burton's 31 CAT car.

Just announced by NASCAR: Jeff Gordon is now the 13th car in the Chase!
In addition, Penske Racing (Logano's team) and Front Row Racing (Gilliland's team) are on probation for the rest of the year.
NASCAR addresses the drivers and teams tomorrow.

Looks like I won this week's fantasy race at Chicagoland, scoring 1, 2, 4, and 8th place finishers. I don't think I've ever scored that high.
Looks like Yahoo had some miscalculations earlier in the day, but all point tallies seem to be correct now.
Ymo! Ymo! Ymo! Ymo!
You can do it!!! :-BD :happy-cheerleadersmileyguy: :happy-cheerleadersmileygirl: :happy-cheerleaderkid:

Acording to ESPN, Michael Waltrip Racing and Martin Truex Jr. lose NAPA as a sponsor.
This could get REALLY ugly!

In the wake of the NAPA decision to leave MWR, Truex is now free to pursue other teams.
Rusty Wallace mentioned on TV that there is talk of Joe Gibbs adding another Toyota to his team, and that it might be Truex and NAPA sponsorship. If that happens, WOW!!

JPM officially has joined Penske Indy Car.

Furniture Row is looking for someone to replace KuBu. Talks have included Truex.

NOTE: Although Vickers is racing today, don't pick him. Because he didn't qualify the car, he is officially NOT ENTERED. Sort of like what happened with JJ the other week.

Kenseth wins again, and Blech comes in second again! Joe Gibbs is on a roll!

Lawgrad wins fantasy league this week by 12 points.
CONGRATS TO LAWGRAD!! :happy-bouncyblue:

Looks like folks are running low on picks for different drivers. :-?
On to Dover!
