We've woken up in Macon, Georgia. IF there isn't one, there should be a Macon Bacon Pork Company. Yesterday was pretty uneventful, mostly lots of driving which was good for me since I'm still sick, so I got to sleep a bunch. We did find one very cool (and totally unadvertised) attraction. It was the "Manatee Viewing Center" run by the power company outside of Tampa. They burn coal, and pump water for steam and the water that is pumped out is pretty warm, so it draws the manatees and a bunch of different kinds of fish into the canal, which is now a manatee sanctuary. It was completely free and very educational.
After breakfast we are packing up and heading to the aquarium in Atlanta, it's the largest in the world. Provided we don't get eaten by sharks, we'll mosey down the road later today for our final run home tomorrow.

Here's a photo of the manatee viewing center's parking lot, talking about how cool it is that they have solar panels in their parking lot. Anyone see any irony?

Solar panels in the parking lot of a coal-fired power plant! I love it! :))

Good morning on this, my first day of freedom from PHB, PPI, and The Minion! Movers come one week from today to load my stuff so that it can begin its trip to Texas. So much work to do...

Good morning all!

My patient woke up sick again. He is apparently allergic to something he's taking and he's all red and itchy.

I wish I was headed for the party, DPA.

Happy housewarming! :ymhug: :ymhug: :ymhug: :ymhug: :ymhug:

I'm thinking that the smoke stacks and solar panels will not become a painting! The Manatee center is great during the winter - I've been there many times.

I waved in the direction of I-75 yesterday...

I'll catch you next time you wander on down this way...feel better and safe final leg of the journey!

Good morning! I finally stepped into 2012 and got a smart phone yesterday (Droid Razr), so except for game time I expect I'll spend the day learning how to use it.
