Did I ever mention here about my very unique and specific brand of ESP or clairvoyance, whatever you want to call it? I don't want to repeat myself if I've already told the story.

You haven't mentioned it on either board that I know of.

My ADD is acting up at the moment...

Ok, so I haven't been diagnosed but I have a mighty short attention span.

OK, here it is. I can always tell when a soda can or 2-liter bottle is going to 'explode' before I open it. If I sense an imminent explosion, I take precautions (hold it over the sink, water fountain, what have you). It's not even really a concious thought. When I do that, it always fizzes. When I don't, it doesn't. Weird. But also useful in a very limited way. You won't get sprayed with soda around me. (Now watch, I'll probably lose it since I've bragged about it.)

You might actually have a very sensitive sense of touch. Soda that's been shaken actually feels a little different. And it starts to "vibrate" for lack of a better term when you start to open it. You might just be sub-consciously sensitive to that. Or, maybe you just have a telekinetic ability to still or fizz a soda. Maybe you're not "sensing" the shaken soda so much as using the force to calm or telekineticaly "shake" the soda. ;)

When I was younger (and to large extent, still today), I was really into "unexplained phenomena," ranging from ghosts to monsters to aliens to whatever. I read a bunch about it, particularly in late elementary and middle school, and always thought it was cool to run across mention of the Duke Parapsychology Lab. It disaffiliated with Duke in 2002, but still bears a strong association with the university by virtue of the Center's heritage and its present-day location right near campus.

I have the new EA Sports Personal Trainer for Wii. It's a pretty good mix of cardio and weight training.

I'm strongly considering one of these titles. How much do they run? Are they really that good of a workout? Does anybody have the balance board? How's Wii fit? What about the other balance board-compatible titles like the board sports selections? How many question marks in a row can I throw out? Should I stick all of this in a video game thread (we're kind of overdue for one of those)?
I think I should. That busts the streak at seven straight question marks.

ArkieDukie, I moved your Wii reply to the new Video Games thread. We may as well keep that discussion there for ease of access and such.

I scored 'Cast Away,' one of my favorite movies, for five bucks at Target today, and am now watching it.
In light of my sig, I thought I should share that.

It honestly has nothing to do with Wilson. I just think it's a great movie. It's long been one of those that I'd drop everything and watch the remainder, however much time was left, when it was on cable. Buying it for $5 was a no-brainer.

So, Wilson, what are the chances you make it to the baseball game in a couple weeks? I'd love to meet the man, the myth, the pirate. :ar!
