How is he doing in the polls? Has anyone asked him about the hypocrisy of his statements about Biden and Trump? Last I saw he was having a closer race than I expected. Maybe it is because I am in a place with no relevant down-ballot races but I am surprised at how little press I have seen about other races, especially the Senate. As much as I really, really want to win the white house, I could stomach four more years of Trump a bit more if the Dems controlled both house and senate.
That's truth. Although I can also guarantee you that Trump will become the first President to be impeached twice.

Fuck that. He needs to be voted out and thrown in jail.

Loving uncensored discourse here vs OY! I don't even go over there any more. Waiting until (if!) there's a BBall season. I never ventured to the OT board until sports were cancelled; don't see a need to go back.

Rasmussen has Biden and Trump tied in Pennsylvania. That means Biden is up 10.

Wheat, can you explain Trump’s relationship with Russia? It goes against bipartisan views since 1917, ESPECIALLY the Republican Party. I have yet to hear an explanation of this from A Trump supporter.

We are closing in on the 4 year "Grab them by the pussy" anniversary, so this timing seems about right. Difference is, the first one had audio, and this is only relayed accounts from people that won't share their names.
Trump rejected the idea of the visit because he feared his hair would become disheveled in the rain, and because he did not believe it important to honor American war dead, according to four people with firsthand knowledge of the discussion that day. In a conversation with senior staff members on the morning of the scheduled visit, Trump said, “Why should I go to that cemetery? It’s filled with losers.” In a separate conversation on the same trip, Trump referred to the more than 1,800 marines who lost their lives at Belleau Wood as “suckers” for getting killed.
Belleau Wood is a consequential battle in American history, and the ground on which it was fought is venerated by the Marine Corps. America and its allies stopped the German advance toward Paris there in the spring of 1918. But Trump, on that same trip, asked aides, “Who were the good guys in this war?” He also said that he didn’t understand why the United States would intervene on the side of the Allies.

In short, Trump during his rainy trip to France essentially says "fuck those guys", and pissed on the graves of Americans who gave everything, just so he could keep his hair looking good. We had heard the umbrella/rain stories before, but not the "loser" comments.

About three weeks ago Wheat posted that one of the reasons he couldn’t vote for democratic was because of socialism. He sold it a bit darker than that. I asked him what was wrong with the socialist countries like Germany Holland and the uk etc where they have universal healthcare and many other social support systems. He never answered...What does the dark and evil word socialism mean to republicans? Russia? North Korea? Or .....Sorry if I am repeating myself but I am a naturalized American originally from the UK. My Dad visited last year. On the first day of his visit he got out the pile of medication he is taking and organized it into daily amounts. It was a LOT! How much did he pay for that? Zilch.nada. He actually voted for Brexit ( much to the disdain of the rest of the family) and he likes Trump but even he can’t understand why we don’t have universal health care or why women could possibly be punished for having an abortion.

It is an interesting dynamic with my family. We have a WhatsApp group and they consistently try to generalize that all of us Americans are dumb because of Trump and I have to remind them that Trump is for 4 or (hopefully not) 8 and Brexit it forever. Full context is that my father was a blue collar guy all his life while my sisters (2) and I all went to college as have my nieces and nephews.

Trump was disqualified a long time ago as far as I am concerned, but I really don't see how this doesn't disqualify him to others. The guy could cure COVID tomorrow and this would still disqualify him. I'm sure he will go with his "fake news" defense. I think this one really has legs and the Dems should be all over it, combining it with the McCain comments, etc. Too bad Biden didn't choose Duckworth as his VP - that would really hammer it home.

The Dems also need to put the feet of all Republican Senate candidates to the fire. Ask them what they think about comments like this. Divide and conquer. I would love to hear Graham or McConnell hem and haw on this. I just wish there was an actual recording of Trump saying this - then there would be no denials.

Not only are these mean, nasty, horrible things to say, but it also proves just how dumb he is. It is bad enough that he thinks such things. But he is so tone deaf that he can't keep such opinions to himself.

When will our national nightmare be over?

Earlier today, Trump mocked Biden for wearing a mask too frequently.

For many other Presidents, that would be the scandal of the year. For Trump, it is not even the scandal of the day.

National nightmare indeed. Sigh...

Bill Barr is sumthin', ain't he. The top attorney in the land, the top law enforcement officer in the land, and he doesn't know if voting twice is illegal.

Gotta say this for Trump, he's got the midas touch. Except everything he touches turns to shit.

Though I think Barr was a major pile of shit before Trump, and Trump just allows him to let his freak flag fly.

I can't even imagine what they will do if given another 4 years.

Since everyone who leaves the Trump administration is immediately revealed to be an incompetent loser the moment they leave, doesn't that reflect poorly on the person who hired them? Asking for a friend.

This Trump Losersuckergate is not a good look for him. It looks like the White House is struggling with it and my feeling is that this one could move the needle or even be the dagger...
interested to hear other people’s views.

Unfortunately there will be ten crazy things before Monday and this will be forgotten. Weren’t we just talking about mini-strokes?

But all these stories maybe peel another layer off the onion of support. Chip away here, shave away there . . . .

OY the conversation slid over to choice. I asked this question which was removed.

Perhaps Wheat or someone else can answer it.

If you are pro-life why are you not pro-universal healthcare? It’s murder if a baby is removed from the womb but it’s not murder if someone dies of cancer because they can’t afford the treatment?

Holy fuckballs, that's some over the top censorship. Might have to completely boycott OY even when (if?) there's a BBall season. Or maybe go down in flames first and get a lifetime ban.
