Also, for the record, strawberry is still the best Pop-Tart flavor.
Hey buddy. What's new?
What is up, my dude? Made it to the coast yet? If you pass through Winston-Salem on your way shoot me a text. Would love to have you over for a beer on the deck.
I start my new job a week from Monday.
You're a popular fellow, mattman.

Thanks for the rec. Will definitely check this out.
beergoddess and I watched Piranha, by Alexander Aja last night. Is it absolutely ridiculous and extreme? Absolutely. But it's hella fun and surprisingly well-directed. Makes fun of itself a bit and goes for fun more than scary, but succeeds bigtime.

Is that the remake with the Richard Dreyfuss in the opening scene?

exactly - Dreyfuss was singing a song he sung while drunk on the boat in Jaws. Wasn't the only cameo either

Anyone ever gone the allergy tests and shots route?
Mostly interested in outcome, and longevity.
I don’t mind shots so the process doesn’t bother me.
Limited research suggests the year long process may only grant up to 7 years of relief.
OTC allergy cocktails just not cutting it.

I would normally struggle with ragweed this time of year, but 1 cetirizine (zyrtec) a day works magic for me.
Beergoddess is a different story. She takes zyrtec twice daily along with flonase intranasal steroids. And it's just not cutting it. She hasn't done the shots, but she says it's time to talk to an allergy doctor. She says there are also newer non-injectable treatments that may be just as good as the shots or possibly better. We don't know, but she is going to find out by seeing an allergy doctor. They're miserable.
just be thankful that you are a cyborg terminator so that they only affect your mortal flesh and not your beer palate.

Yeah, I do flonase daily and rotate Allegra, Claritin and Zyrtec as apparently antihistamines work for up to a two week period. Some days I will do one in the am, and a different one in the pm.

My test came back negative. Of course I'm still not allowed to go back to work for a week.
Jethro expects me to answer all calls to the office that aren't directed to a certain person so that working people aren't interrupted, but in his brilliancy, he did not properly forward my office number to my cell number. I'm not going to tell him.

Rewatched the first few episodes of The Mandalorian this morning.
Shows what potential Disney can realize for the Star Wars franchise.

Watched Gremlins for the first time in forever while camping last weekend. I noticed an interesting name among the producers in the opening credits.
Kathleen Kennedy.
Turns out at only 28 years old, she co founded Amblin with Frank Marshall and Speilberg.
