*Secret agent disappearing ink... ohhh yeah.
That sounds yummy! I love BM's and the spicier the better!!!! I wish I would have brought my Vodka, but I have a bomber you might want to taste! :D

I have removed the DFH Punkin' Ale from my list as 8-x said he would bring it. I have replaced it with a 4 pack of a scotch ale. (no, CB&B, I did not steal any extras from your recently released supply :D )

Attendance list and food offerings as of 1-October (if you've been over-looked or, late to the thread) add your name below.

CB&B(+1)- grilled potatoes, muffins, beer, BM fixin's.
TNTdevil (+4)- Cinnamon-raisin bread, Biscuits, Sausage, Bacon, Eggs, Hot dog buns, wings, Smoked chicken salad, cole slaw, iced tea, beers, and water. (Dropped the "Sticky Buns" as we seem to have plenty of breakfast sweets. May not need Zocor as much as we'll need insulin. :)))
DD(+1)- Pumpkin bread, beverages
Very Duke Blue (+3?)- diced onions, relish, hot-dog chili, beverages of an adult nature
Tilly- Chips & dip (I thought she said K68 wasn't coming :))?) and crackers
DukePA- with Mimosas!
Ozzie- Hot dogs, polyester beer
CathyCA (+3)- Beer bread, butter, jam, jelly. KrispyKreme donuts

Duke2narow (as in "Two in a row" - championships!) and her mom will be joining us for Brunchgate in the morning. Old timers on the DBR boards will recognize her name, but she hasn't posted in many years.) She asked what to bring - I suggested something she likes or a "specialty". Any suggestions or requests?

Fruit salad is the only thing missing from the menu for the AM, AFAIK.

Sausages/brats to cook after the game?

Latest note from Duke. Cathy, the Devil Walk starts at 9:45 and will reach us ~5 to 10 minutes later.
All Iron Dukes parking lots will be open by 7:00 am; all public parking lots will be open by 8:00 am. In order to be admitted into your designated parking lot, you must have your official 2009 Duke Football parking pass, no exceptions will be made. As always, we ask that you are courteous to fellow Iron Dukes members by not taking up additional spots for tailgating. Each pass is good for only one parking space. Please make sure that your pass is visibly displayed from your rearview mirror.

The ticket office in Cameron Indoor Stadium will open at 10:00 am. The gates and ticket booths around the stadium will open at 10:30 am (90 minutes prior to kickoff).

Come out early to Blue Devil Alley where there will be plenty of activities for the entire family. Cheer on the Duke Football team during the Blue Devil Walk as they make their ceremonial walk from the bus stop in front of the Duke Chapel to Wallace Wade Stadium at 9:45 am. As always, you are encouraged to wear BLUE to Saturday's Game.

Yeppers, K68 is sitting out the festivities tomorrow as I need to "make the rounds" to see family and catch up with other, less -than-Duke-blue friends. I am king of procrastination and have put them off for MONTHS.
:ymhug: to ya'll all, I'll catch up with ya next go-round, k?

OZZIE4DUKE wrote:I'll be there. When thinking of menu items, remember that not only are we there for brunch but the tents will remain up for at least an hour AFTER the game, so we can gather again for post game libations and, well, post game food.

I'll bring my standard Bud Light and 1/4 pound all beef hot dogs, thinking these are mainly for after the game. I'm thinking the grill can be re-lit and the dogs cook pretty fast.

I'm hoping we'll have breakfast items pregame - eggs, bacon, TNT's previously mentioned spicy sausages, maybe french toast... Ymm!

Please keep the comments about TNT's spicy sausage in the "social" thread. =)) =)) =))
I haven't seen anyone volunteering french toast. Did I miss something?

If it is desired, I can bring the fixin's for it and prepare it as requested.

Thoughts?

ETA: Hot dog buns 2.0 look wicked good! :-bd

I'd love French toast! I believe I mentioned that last week. Please do bring the fixin's. I'm bringing an extra dozen eggs.

Duke2narow is bringing a fruit tray.

I always wait until the last minute, given the uncertainty or our life around here. But, it looks like we'll be there in the morning. I'll be totin' a sausage breakfast casserole.
Love, Ima

You won't be alone eating if TNTDevil is gonna make French Toast :D . Wonder if he uses the small, tender French people like CB&B uses in his French Onion soup?

Nope. I'm a real murkin! So I don't youse no fancy cheese-eatin', surrentder-monkey frenchie stuff. I use small, tender Freedom people in my "Freedom Toast". :))

Van is packed. All that's left is to make the biscuits in the AM. Probably rollin' by 7:15am

I've got 18 eggs ready for scrambling and another short dozen mixed for "Freedom" toast (gawd, it feel stupid even typing that as a joke!). 2 loaves of cinnamon-swirl raisin bread and some effing awesome looking homemade 10" HD buns. Totally different texture and look. And lots of other goodies.

See y'all tomorrow.

GO DUKE!
