All of the rumors that have been “leaked” are something worse than rumors. They are darts thrown in the dark based off of ones own perception, as opposed to any merit or fact that may actually be present. I don’t care what source Jerry Meyer or Mark Miller “cite” in their conflicting reports of where Barnes will go, it’s at best a guess.
The rumors will only intensify between now and Friday afternoon, and I can already rule all of them out for you. Whatever the odds you may consider that Barnes will go to a given school might as well be flushed, because nobody outside of the Barnes camp knows. There is a long list of reasons I could conjure up for him to select any one of his finalists, but I do not know how he has weighted all of his priorities. He has said he wants to contend for a national title and his education is important to him, wanting to major in Business. Which is more important? None of us know, and its time everyone stops pretending

I'd like to see him at Duke. I'm listening to him talk - whereeve he goes, they are getting a great kid. Very well spoken.

He picked the holes.
Most people say that is it is the intellect which makes a great scientist. They are wrong: it is character.

But he did pick an ugly shade of blue!
Good luck at UNC, Harrison Barnes.

You are so right, dear friend! The Duke cupboard is hardly empty. This young man's decision makes a place available for someone else to bring his game to Duke.

Agreed, but as they say in Spamalot, always look at the bright side of life...
... at least over here we don't have a 15,000 post thread devoted to his recruitment.
Or was that for John Wall?

As I said elsewhere, if Barnes is one and done and Kyle comes back, I'll take Kyle. Here's to Barnes having a great year, watching us win the NC, and then going pro.
