While browsing available board software tonight, I found that we can install a wiki-esque page. It's a thought, if you want the history to be a living article.

I think that is a great idea as having it be a living article was kind of what I had in mind all along.

And one of our mods was partly responsible for the tangent ;)

To be fair, a meandering, tangential discussion within a thread entitled "CTN: A History" is entirely appropriate, if you ask me.

Lest it be said that I got lazy in the waning days of my administration, I have moved the discussion on accents and special characters to a new thread.

I was just teasing. The tangent didn't bother me at all.

Yeah, I knew that, but I made a new thread anyway, which has taken off nicely. Check it out; your input will further enhance it.

I took a quick look at the thread and will definitely be joining the discussion (which has been quite interesting thus far) but I likely won't do it until tomorrow as I am just too tired tonight. I guess that's what happens when you go out on a Saturday night and don't make it home and to bed until 9:30 Sunday morning. And no, I wasn't drinking all night ;)

I think it is safe to say you are now part of history

Been watching this thread with great interest and affection! Windsor, your original composition was great. I applaud all subsequent suggestions and have nothing better to add. Is this group warm and fuzzy or what? :D

How did I miss all those ads? Probably wasn't visiting there hardly any for a long, long time, wondering where many of the folks I've been fortunate enough to know and meet had disappeared. Now I know why and understand completely. I've spent a fair amount of my precious free time on bluedevilsreign, Wayne's pay site, following real-time recruiting. Now I can add this site to my faves and kinda let the "other" site moderate away;)
Nice to "see" all of you again, CT

The history writers, whoever you are, can start getting to work. Since the front page is coming along a little bit better we should be ready to update it within the next couple weeks. Whoever volunteers to write the actual article, whether it's one or more people, let me know and I'll add you as a blogger on the front page so you can upload and update it's content.
