Thanks for all the vibes and virtual shin kicks :D !! I've applied for unemployment and found the process to be much more humane than the last time in the early 90's when I had to go stand in line. Now you can do it online!! In the meantime, I've applied for every PA job within a 50 mile radius. Now the waiting begins. La, la, la, la . . . .

My niece's wedding is this evening and should be a blast. We're having a traditional pig picking.

hugs,
Donna

Oh WOW! Look at the response from shin, chin and numerous other body-part-kickers you got in VERY short order! This is war and you definitely have an army behind you, girl! Take heart. This is a blessing in disguise. You're too good to go to waste. Can you print out this list of folks who believe in you and staple it to your applications? Hugs to your mom and dad. Try to relax and have a great weekend with one and all at the wedding.

Vibes Forever!!!!
Love, Ima \m/

The vibes are working!! Thank you! I have a second interview with a primary care practice that is 6 miles from home. While Oncology is my first choice, I do need primary care experience. PA's recertify every 6 years in primary care so it would be nice not have to study extra hard at exam time.

Anyway, the wedding was beautiful. I'll post pics soon.

Love ya'll,
Donna

Outstanding news! Coronas all around! And think of all the Chimay you'll be able to buy with the gas money you'll save only driving 12 miles a day instead of ~60+!

No Coronas here - I'm having a margarita in your honor. Vibes for the 2nd interview. Short commutes to work are great!

I got the extra vibes from Windsor. Thank you! I got a call from the medical oncologist JohnBoy recommeded. I'm meeting with her on Monday afternoon. I'm intrigued because I would get to continue my dream of working in Oncology. The downside is that I would have to rent a place in Washington and come home on weekends. Stephen isn't in love with the idea, but I like the thought of living by myself part time. Hmmmmm... Oh, and most important: the doctor is a Dukie!!
