Sylvie is an amazing cook. I asked her to bring a traditional African dish since she is from Zaire. Hopefully she'll have time to cook

Well, it’s been a long-time coming. Heck it’s been so long since we had anything to cheer about… ;) but, it’s time to rock some Duke Football!

I’ve thought long and hard about what should be my contribution. Given that our first opponent, the recently minted Elon University is such a close neighbor and, the Alma Mater of our beloved Earl Jam, I elected to prepare a dish that honors the proud tradition of Burlington’s finest University- The Elon University Phoenix! Therefore, my menu will be derived from just that- a bird that rises to greatness from ashes!

Awesome news on the bird..I was hoping we'd be doing one long before thanksgiving. Since the brisket and the turkey will take care of the main courses pretty well, I'll take care of the kids and kids at heart with hot dogs to go along with my corn.

The tea will be sweet. Perhaps not home made, but sweet. I prefer Chik-fil-A's slightly lighter tea, whereas wolfpackdevil prefers the overly sweet and somewhat darker version from Bojangles. Since he'll be drinking tea and I'll be drinking other beverages I'll probably let him win this one.

Sorry for the belated posting folks, but it looks like I'll be able to join you all for the Elon game and--hopefully--a few more! I'm trying to persuade my friend, Tom (T '76), to come as well. I'm planning to roll in about four. Not sure what I'll bring other than microbrews at this point. I'm open for suggestions.

I'd suggest a bottle opener, but I think TNT has that covered too!

We are cheermom and one more (cheerdad). I will know a little later in the week which of the three I items am bringing. It depends on how much time I have to fix things this week.

I'll be bringing my sister and nephew (so me +2). I'll check a bit later in the week to see what else we should bring. Perhaps sporks?
