Hmm....

Small garage-sale lamp - wooden base, 30W bulb
AM / FM / CD clock / radio, approx 10 yrs old. Clock is digital, radio is analog... how stupid is that?
small travel battery-powered travel alarm clock
a few pens for crossword puzzles / sodukos
misc CDs (Springsteen - "Live in New York" - both discs, Jackson Browne "Pretender" if I recall)
misc library books - last trip: CJ Box "Blue Heaven", Walter Mosley "Known to Evil", David Halberstam "October 1964"
shelf under nightstand - misc Philly Stinky Sunday crosswords in case the books suck

As for Mrs. Turk's nightstand - none a my binness, so certainly ain't none a y'alls either.... :D :naughty:

Not stupid, weird, odd or anything else out of the ordinary, nope not at all! Actually, it is something I noticed that a lot of folks (myself included) have some "aged" alarm clocks on their night stands. In this era of Tweets and Ipods and Iphones and IPads, people are still using 5, 10 and 20 year old clocks by their night stands. Just an interesting factoid.

We have a 30+ year old Zenith brand digital clock radio in our master bathroom. I listen to it every morning.

It was one of those big water roaches...hate those things, they are all over the place at the beach. The worst is waking up and seeing one crawling across the ceiling...just waiting for it to drop. :-ss :twitch:

On my nightstand? Ted Williams' head.

Seriously though, what ever happened to the head of Ted Williams?
