Save the time and forget PM. I won't be offended by what you post.knights68 wrote:
Dude, your listing is impressive but flawed. VERY flawed! I am at work at the moment so I cannot show you the error of your ways... lol, but I will be working on it today and get back with you this evening. I'll PM ya for your review and will leave it up to you to post publicly how you were wrong on many of these nice points!

Archer...the guy who had so little faith in the transporter that he said once said that he wouldn't even put his dog through it?

No, the alien races hated Kirk because he boned all their wives.Miles wrote: 74. Despite the Borg incident, Picard is still welcome back at Starfleet HQ. Kirks name is an anathema to Starfleet HQ and alien races alike.
All the alien races hated Kirk cuz he was the best. See "Duke Hatred Tsunami"
Can't agree there. See above.Miles wrote: 59. Kirk is not a sex symbol. Never was, never will be.

I'm an Archer fan also. I was disappointed when they canceled the series, but I think I've got all the episodes as mpg's now.bjornolf wrote:
What about Jonathan Archer? I liked him a lot. By ST chronology, he was the first. ;)

I saw Stewart's portrayal of Ebeneezer Scrooge...no one else should. Voice or not...not.

I was going to say that, but you figure he had to be a captain before he made admiral.DukeUsul wrote:He was an Admiral.Rolvix wrote:Solo.

Well, if you're going there, then Adama was technically a Commander, not a captain. His SON was a Captain. And if you're going NEW Adama, he ended up an Admiral too.DukeUsul wrote:He was an Admiral.Rolvix wrote:Solo.

Re: Who is your favorite starship captain?
Yeah, but Commander Adama commanded a single ship. Admiral Ackbar commanded a fleet. And Zaphod Beeblebrox didn't have any kind of rank (other than ex-President) but he was just one froody dude who ran a spaceship. So I wasn't really focused on that it had to be a Captain, but more someone who commanded a ship.bjornolf wrote:Well, if you're going there, then Adama was technically a Commander, not a captain. The only way this thread could get any dorkier would be if y'all started having these disputes in binary.

Knight68 made me wonder, does Marvin the Martian count as a starship captain?
